im going give you spanny because we like them and uhhh semma lol

i guess because i’ve been in manny’s position at that age and such, and it’s not easy going about dating when you’ve been badly burned before in the past. manny feared spinner would be just like all the others.

a lot of importance to manny was for the first seasons is love, romance and manny didn’t have romance. she would watch others fall in love. se wanted love too. and even though her first romances ended in heartbreak - this one had right out of the gate had this really important exchange: a promise that it’d be the last thing that he’d want to do is hurt her. 

i like that they didn’t plan to like each other, it just sort of happened organically. i liked that they have some weird history when spinner was the school bully and she fake cried to get him off her back but i’m sure he doesn’t remember that when they were mutually attracted to each other. 

of course, everyone hates manny for ruining spaige but let’s be real; you can’t help who you fall for sometimes. it takes two to tango. it also shows that it was more than just about falling blindly; manny had excess baggage from her past heartbreak. let’s also remember she dated jt, who was her childhood friend and he turned out to only find interest in her when he saw her dress up a little more scantily and craig debacle and sully only was interested after the makeover. craig liked her though when she was little miss sunshine, romantic child who asked her to dance. he was her first real love, and then spinner comes along and while he’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed and he doesn’t understand her cues or her wants and he really wants to make her happy but the real thing was - is she’s terribly afraid to give her heart to somebody in fear that they will break it it’s so sad but very realistic and something that people relate to. spinner you never have to worry about romantically, because he falls in love before the girl even has the chance to. 

he fell for manny in an instant. it’s no secret spinner had always found manny good looking aside from season 1 when he just blindly hated all grade sevens bc they’re grade sevens - - that was just weird. he just roped em all.

and while he’ll always have a soft spot for paige, and manny will probably never *really* get over craig because first loves die hard - they had something special. manny was also spinner’s first and that’s also something pretty big to take away. 

what i didn’t like is that manny took a level in jerkass and, normally manny is super sympathetic and kind hearted and such but it’s also a huge missed opportunity that manny turned her back on spinner. especially because everyone sees manny as the supportive type the one who is a better friend than her friends even give her credit for. she just peaced on spinner when he needed her the most.

i often wonder what it would’ve been like if manny stood up for spinner. that spinner and manny overcame the looks in the hall and such and stayed together despite what people said about spinner. 

it makes the promise look so cheap then.

sorry for being random but that pic IS from a deleted scene from gangsta, gangsta where emma asks why sean became friends with jay and co. and he's says it's because they "have a lot in common", then emma rubs his shoulder (that pic) and tells him she missed him last night (when they were suppose to have their double cheese pizza date) and he puts his arm around her and they walk off. i can't find any s3 deleted scenes online but it's super cute c:

no apology necessary this helps answer a question! i don’t own the dvds anymore, long story short i lent a friend my two dvds - two and four and never saw the friend/dvds again :( and like i remember some deleted scenes but this all of this. :( it hurts. it was a good shot in the dark i guess because i was able to assume it was affiliated with gg. i wish i could see it. that’s so cute that she puts her arm on his shoulder. s3 hurts.
