When/how did you first get into the simming community?

three years ago, or was it four? i think four. pixelpixies liked a sims 3 screenshot i'd posted on my main, and she lured me in, that (lovely, lovely) rascal! the first simblr i made went down the drain cos i didn't have time to keep it going, but a year or so later i made 'decorphile' (probably making a bunch of interior nuts super jelly and annoyed that a sims nerd took that url), and here i am!

Do you have an actual guilty pleasure? Something you enjoy that goes against everything you stand for? (e.g. mine is playing around w/tarot cards. Shhhh, the pictures are pretty and they help me think.)

i think pop music. it kills me that i like some of justin bieber's songs only because they're catchy, while he's a total douchebag who doesn't deserve me liking his stuff. i have no remorse listening to ke dollar sign ha because she's a good person with a great vision though, and same goes for miss minaj. 

Is the soul a thing, apart from being a figure of speech? 

if you really want me to go all... soft on you, i think the soul is what embodies our personality. i downright refuse the existence of any deity, so it's really quite crazy to hear (read?) me say these things. but, should it be that such a thing as the soul exists, i'd like to think it's what carries our personality inside this weird skin-bag of ours, and therefore sets us apart from each other.

Do you have any “bad habits”, that you don’t think are actually bad/a big deal at all?

i smoke. and it's really only my choice. i'm a considerate smoker, so i think people need to get the fuck off my case about it, and let me potentially develop cancer in peace. we're all going to die anyway, i've just increased my chances of knowing what offs me.

my (favourite) grandmother has cancer, and i know it's a horrible illness, so it's not like i'm just taking cancer with a grain of salt. so, please, get off my case about that, too.

What is a weird or unreasonable rule you had to follow as a child?

society's "girls only do this, boys only do that". my parents didn't really care much for my hobbies, so they weren't the ones to dictate what i did. i was a scout for years, and they let me play hockey (on ice) when i said i wanted to. same with basketball and handball. sure, both hand- and basketball were girls' teams, but they're predominantly men's sports where i'm from. at the time i hadn't quite come to terms with my actually being a boy though, so it didn't bother me then.

Do you have an unpopular interpretation/headcanon for a character from any fandom?

i'm not that invested in fandoms these days, so i don't really carry headcanons. i just watch/listen/read and carry on, perhaps appreciating the fanart, but that's it. so no? 

Do you make your bed evey morning?

if making my bed means tossing off my duvet, then yes.

What is the stupidest piece of clothing you used to love?

bandanas in my hair. that's one of the things i miss from my scene days. ahhh, bandanas. 

What is a simblr trend you actually quite enjoyed?

the trend that was actual in-depth storytelling! it's died down over the past year, and that makes me sad, considering i'm a sucker for good writing.

If you could get rid of one vital need (eating, rest, breathing, idk, pooping, social interaction, medication if you need any) which one would it be?

medication, if my testosterone shots count. it'd be nice not having to get one every 12 weeks for the rest of my life, and instead i just had it in me naturally.
