he never ever jokes about his husbands place or worth in their life, because while he knows most people in his life make those sort of jokes in good faith, he also known reporters most likely don't. he refuses to let anybody use him as some sort of crutch to bring down or somehow devalue his HUSBAND.
yeah in private he may make some jokes, but you best believe he is answering any weird or insulting questions with "😐🤨 are you talking about my husband? love of my life Ilya rozanov, that husband? the man a married and would give everything for, that husband? that Ilya, my Ilya? who do you think youre talking about? 😒" alas reporters stop trying to get Shane to say anything about Ilya at all
