The Vatnagedda is a flounder-like fish found living in Iceland. The Vatnagedda is described as a flounder that is depicted as blue or yellow in color and it is covered in hair. The Vatnagedda is said to be very poisonous its name even means “Poisonous Pike.” The Vatagedda’s poison is said to be so deadly that it can even melt rocks. It is very difficult to catch a Vatnagedda because you need to use a gold ring as bait and wear gloves made of human skin to avoid the poison.
