It’s actually Mythal’s vallasiln which I headcanon appeared when she drank from the well of sorrows. Her eye color also changed to gold like the Sentinels ;-)

“Due to her family history, groundside assignments, and lack of experience in working with other races, she tends to be distrustful of aliens. Ashley doesn't trust the Citadel Council and believes humanity can't rely on them staying allies. She questions the wisdom of allowing aliens to wander around the Normandy freely, and dismisses the Prothean Cipher as "some asari mumbo jumbo", believing the Commander has suffered needlessly to get it. However, Ashley acknowledges that Shepard is in command and the presence of aliens on the Normandy is not her decision.
That being said, Ashley isn't xenophobic. She dismisses Terra Firma as a group of xenophobic "jackals" who have replaced the original noble aims of the party with anti-alien paranoia. At Virmire, if Urdnot Wrex is with the Normandy crew and angry with Shepard due to current events, even though Ashley won't hesitate to shoot the krogan she happily volunteers to go with Captain Kirrahe's team and has no problem with the salarians, respecting their tenacity and skill.
At the operation on Virmire, Shepard can choose to save Ashley's life, but at the cost of losing Kaidan. During the debriefing, Ashley gets angry at Shepard's decision, saying Kaidan was a superior officer and she should have been the one left behind. However, Shepard responds by asking how far Ashley is willing to go in order to clear her grandfather's name. Ashley does have qualms about facing the Reapers, claiming she's infantry and will have no place in the upcoming battles but Shepard assures her that she's needed. Eventually, Ashley comes to her senses and agrees to work with the Normandy's multi-species crew to stop Saren Arterius, even becoming good friends with Liara, Tali, and even Garrus and/or Wrex if they are around.”

I understand your viewpoint and I wish their lore did support mixes of the races better. However, I think the skin tone and other features would still show up, right? So Allistair could've gotten some regular traits from Fiona, right?
That’s the thing, too--Alistair clearly inherited some things from his mother, otherwise he’d look identical to Cailan and Maric. (Although what with his progressive whitewashing, less and less so.) Feynriel looks almost identical to his mother. So it’s yet another case of BioWare saying one thing and doing another.

While I may be bi. I don't get why we can't just let each other mod romances to whatever. (Although Dorian's quest would be a bit weird then. Also white Vivienne is gross) If OP said the same about not changing Sera's sexuality, y'all would be championing them. They're not real people and it won't chance YOUR game. Y'all let people head cannon/ship but how is that different with a mod? Only exception is Jaal and characters that were almost made bi but not enough time.
You’re making a false equivalence. One group is oppressed and the other isn’t; there’s plenty of other straight characters in the game for representation. If you can’t see why changing a gay person’s sexuality to be straight is in no way the same situation as making Solas bi, i don’t know what to tell you.

@folly-of-alexandria Ellie could always be bisexual. There's no question that she liked Riley romantically. However, we have no info about whether she's open to boy's too. While she wasn't into Sam, he was much younger than her and not a confirmation that she's not bi.
@vaultn7 Actually, Niel Druckman stated that Ellie is a Lesbian, not bi, a Lesbian. So no, boys are not on the table.
