You slowly opened your eyes, taking in the dark and enchanting forest you seemed to find yourself in. How'd you get here? Weren't you just at home?
"Ahhhh you're finally awake?" His deep voice pulled you from your thoughts, causing you to look over at him immediately.
Your eyes lit up the moment you saw him, and your face split into an ecstatic grin when he offered you his hand to take. "Did you bring me here?" You asked softly, resting your hand delicately in his to allow him to pull you up and into his embrace.
He nuzzled into your neck to take in your comforting scent, sighing in contentment once you were flush against him. "I did. I thought it was finally time for you to join me in my own world." He whispered after a few blissful moments of silence in each other's hold.
Your heart swelled at his whisper and you clutched the soft fabric of his tunic in your dominant hand, your own nose nuzzling into his neck. He hummed at your joy and smiled when he felt you bury yourself into his side.
His hand gently found it's way to your head and his fingers carded through your hair soothingly, stroking the back of your head a few times while you stayed put. Then he managed to looked down at you and kissed you on your forehead, his other arm sweeping out over the forest area you could see. "Welcome to your new home."
