Thread the needle Some people would say that @trvrtm and I work pretty well together - and I agree 😉. My big man is someone I can always trust to run the break with me, and to roll/cut to the basket whenever he sees an opening. You don't find many bigs that are willing to run that floor, so be sure to reward them 👍 we've been playing together for over three years now, going onto four- and that experience together shows. He also hit 6 or 7 threes tonight (I gotta go back and check), and put up probably 30-40 of our points. Thursday coed rec league #allyoucanshootcurry Won our game this week I know my game is built around the three point line. I used to joke about how you don't ever need to worry about me taking the ball inside the three arc. But let's be honest, that's no real way to play basketball. I've been getting in the gym much more consistently lately, and I've missed my fair share of layups- but tonight, they were dropping. All shots I've thrown up before, but much more controlled today. I began this game with a mentality- they can't stop our attack, and we can't let up. I probably averaged 7+three point attempts per game in the past seasons, and this season I've cut it down significantly. More layups, which also means more chances for free throws. Definitely took it to them hard this week, just in time for two weeks of rest (a bye and then Thanksgiving break). But just because the rec league is resting, doesn't mean I won't be getting my buckets, still! Let me know if you're trying to ball! Thursday coed rec Team highlights Win vs. the Larry Bird Watchers (91-32) #vavibasketball { I imagine a system A camera tripod that can be set up at the scorers table. Trackers that are programmed to keep location of players. Camera AI that calculates statistics as you play. Click a player's name and review highlights. It also puts together a quick highlight video, using music and an algorithm. Similar to GoPro Quik. That way, you record a game, and can view stats and highlights after. No need for post processing unless you want to choose specifics. Players are identified beforehand by the number on their jersey } I usually spend 3-4 hours after my game (spread out through a few days sometimes) to do stats, game reel, and then highlights. I've gotten much faster with the hotkeys and shortcuts in #iMovie, and I've added little additional edits each time to improve. I do need another camera zoomed in on the far basket, to get better image quality. My teammates tell me I don't need to do stats and video, and I know- I don't. But it's fun to share, and there are additional hidden benefits to it ☺️, I mean I've gotten a sponsorship so far from @keapathletics and I no longer wear other basketball shorts ☺️☺️ #KEAPitforlife #PlayforKEAPs I use the statistics to teach (my company is @exclusivetutoringsd - I teach all subjects , but math is definitely my favorite), It's fun to teach mean/median/mode/range with fun questions like, "how many points does Eric have to score in order to average 200 points a game?" 🤣🤣 Instead of making up stats, I've got some real data 📉📈📊 Another benefit.. I envision myself opening a media company one day (graphic design, videography, animation). It's all a step by step process- and for now, I've simply been playing around with the videography equipment and software I've accumulated.
