I really don't wanna eat take out food anymore cause I'm trying to loose weight and I do indulge when I want to but for me take out food just isn't worth it 99% of the time. But oh my god like every Friday my parents get take away and tomorrow my friend is coming round and she said let's order pizza and I honestly don't know how to say no. I really don't want pizza tomorrow cause I ate badly today so how can I suggest we eat something else without saying I'm trying to lose weight?

Anyways, here’s my thought on this and I hope it’s not too late.
With your parents, just don’t eat with them! Make your own food! Boil some chicken or throw it in the oven or do some pork chops or something. Eat a giant salad with eggs and nuts on it. Throw some green beans in a pot — it takes like 10 minutes to cook. On days your family eats take out, just make something simple and easy! You just have to look up recipes or basically make plain-looking meals. One time I boiled chicken and some pasta and put a touch of garden salsa on it and it was freaking delicious.
With your friend, I’m not really sure why you’d be concerned about letting them know you’re wanting to lose weight. It’s not something to be ashamed of at all! Unless you’re already underweight or you’re taking unhealthy measures to lose weight. On days like this, and assuming you’re not doing this unhealthily, you have two options: 1) eat the pizza and have fun because it’s only one night and will not kill you at all or 2) tell her you’d rather have something else and throw out ideas until you come to an agreement. And if she finds out it’s because you wanna lose weight, big whoop. She’s gonna figure it out eventually.
