meet [ real name redacted ] “ barbie ” ;  a 25-year-old undercover hacker. you had known signs of high intelligence at quite a young age. and your 3 older brothers — all in the “family business” as they called it — knew you were made to be a part of their organization. and so, as you began to grow, they slowly introduced you to the world of hacking. it interested you, you won’t lie ; but you didn’t know just how illegal what you’d been dragged into was. everyone involved in the organization started to call you barbie — a name that would soon replace your real name.

despite the dark & illegal side to you, you’re a genuinely kind person. someone people are drawn to when they’re in need of advice or general nurturing. this can make it hard to keep your little hobby  /  job a secret. though you know you have to : one of your brothers once told you that there would be dire consequences if you ever told somebody about the organization. and that scared you enough to keep your promise to not tell anyone.

color it completely, it's so gorgeous, teach me your ways!

thank you so much darling !! whispers: I was lucky with this scene mostly, I only had to use some curves-layer-magic underneath my usual colouring. If you’ve got a dark scene with a spot/object that’s normally white, you can just click on the little sample icon ( the bottom one is for white ) and click on that spot. Photoshop will automatically set your curves to the right setting ( both brightness as colourwise ). I merely added a few brightness/contrast layers on top of that and selective colouring/color balance layers to even out the red with blue for the skin tone !
