Another day, another boring meeting was all Iiliit could think as she stared out the window. Once again, while the next actual meet wasn’t until 2017 in Alaska, the members, including observers of the Arctic Council was having a gathering just to prepare for next year and chat. She blew out some air, finding this meaningless since she was just there as a dependency of Denmark and he took care of her foreign affairs anyhow...Besides, there was no talk of Inuit issues this time and worst of all Mari, her partner in crime, was sick.

How was she supposed to sit around with all these old men and no sister to help her make their lives miserable?? The girl suddenly struck an idea, snickering quietly and beginning to quietly creep away from the room. Before she could entirely leave though, oh, of course...A familliar voice caught her ears. 

“...Oh, heyyy daddddd.”

It was an understatement to say she wasn’t afraid of the tall men that seemed to surround her. Chattering surrounded her in a tongue that had never yet touched her ears before. She knew she was different, and somehow, there were two strangers which caught her eye. There was an air about them that she found odd…Nonetheless she couldn’t place it.

She had no idea they were nations, nor what nations were. All her life she had just hopped from nomadic group to nomadic group, or just wandered, alone, for centuries.

Here, this six year old stood; no one could tell by looking at her, that she was thousands of years old. Next to her was some boy from her group. She didn’t know him, she just knew wherever she was going, so was he. Sapangak, the name of a woman she held dear centuries ago, that was he name she held now, of course, she’d never reveal such information to such people.

Sapangak inhaled before kicking one of the men in front of her hard in the leg. She continued this assault, grunting loudly as she did so, hoping to get their attention so she could get her harpoon back and be on her way. Why had they even brought her and this boy in front of this giant sea monster? Of course, it was just a huge boat, but to her, it wasn’t anything she’d seen before.
