Vchos Truck

Vchos has the kind of food I can see getting again and again and again and again. I went with their pastelito combo which came with a chicken pastelito, a papusa of my choice (pork, bean and cheese was my choice), coleslaw, rice and beans, red salsa and a drink of my choice (I chose strawberry mango fresco).

I started with the pastelito. What's a pastelito, you ask? Why, seasoned chicken, potatoes and carrots in a crunchy corn pocket. Vchos' was magnificent. Like an angel carried on crisptastic wings with a meat and vegetable filling made of dreams. I wanted more, but what I got next was papusa.

And I'm sorry papusa, You were good, but after the pastelito there was no way you could ever stand up to its divine flavor. Yes, you were cheesy and soft and you were very nice. You're a nice papusa, don't let anybody tell you otherwise, but pastelito, I long for thee. 

The red beans and rice were my favorite beans and rice I have had from any truck. The coleslaw... I am pretty picky about my coleslaw, so I can see people enjoying Vchos' coleslaw, but it was not for me. The drink was very good, but how can you screw up a strawberry mango fresco? Oh, you can? Well, Vchos' was tip-top of the charts, my man.

I look forward to eating their food again and again. And I really hope they come by the office regularly. I need to try the rest of their menu. I need to.
