Ventus wasn’t exactly happy. No, not since he’d brought home the human he’d all been but forced to take. It had been like a showcase, several humans bared to him, showing him everything they physically had worth. The blond hadn’t been there willingly; no, those with a higher power than him had dragged him along, giving him no other choice but to somehow choose a human and take him home, like a pet from a breeder.
Originally, Ventus had hoped to just say that no one piqued his interest and that he’d have to try again. But, once he saw the selection, that idea went out the window. His interest in one black haired boy had been far too apparent to say that he didn’t want him. Ventus had gravitated towards the other as if drawn in, knowing nothing about him to begin with, until someone spoke up.
Vanitas, the human’s name was, and oh, was he a catch. Not only was his physical appearance enough to make Ventus nigh drool, but the scent in the air made him feel a bit light headed. He felt that pull inside of him, that hunger that could kill him, if left ignored. There was such a desire in him that he’d never felt before, all for just this one, mere human.
But ‘mere’ he was anything but.
Vanitas had a special blood type, one that had been cultivated for generations. He cost a pretty penny, that was for sure, and Ventus was almost afraid he couldn’t afford the one person he’d ever felt such a need for. But, in the end, he had brought home the raven haired boy, and they sat across from each other in one of the sitting rooms in his home.
Where Ventus then sulked. He wasn’t sure what to do with his human. He never liked the idea of owning someone; it never sat well with him in the slightest. But, there he was, facing someone he now owned the fate of in every way.
“Are you... hungry?” he asked, lamely, wanting to slap himself in the face after the words left his mouth.
