i am trying very hard to figure out how to animate my beloved OCs (this one is comet. everyone say hi to comet) and i am doing everything in my power to do it without learning how to use an adobe program. thus, this ridiculous rig in blender:

Hellooo I hope you don't mind questions about your OCs :) what were their bedrooms like as kids? How would they feel going into a recreation of it as adults?

hi! sorry i took a while to get to this. i have a lot to say actually

- comet, maximus, and maximus' mother, actually all grew up in the same bedroom (although at different times, obviously.) maximus' mother did not stick around after his birth (for uh. reasons) so maximus' abuelo, santiago, just retooled her former bedroom to be for baby max. and then after santiago died not long before comet was conceived, maximus moved into his grandfather's room and once again redecorated to make it suitable for a baby girl*. the house was also built by santiago (he was a contractor & a carpenter) but it was on a budget so while the home has good bones it's still fairly small in terms of square footage. but the furniture is well-built and well-loved, you know?

- eunchae grew up in a fairly opulent house on the other side of town, but she didn't get a lot of say on how to decorate her own space because her parents are micromanagers of her self-expression, so while she Has her own bedroom, it's not a place that she feels like is her's. also kinda hard to decorate or stash things away when her parents have specifically instructed their housekeepers to regularly inspect eunchae's room for miscellaneous paraphernalia. anything potentially unseemly that she was worried about getting confiscated ended up finding a home in maximus' bedroom. maximus Gets The Situation but it does still bring him great guilt to be stocking eunchae's porn mags and satan-glorifying cassette tapes & cds. anything for eunchae, though.

how would they react going back to a recreation of those rooms?

- maximus would feel genuine safety and comfort in that room if it existed as it did when he was young. in spite of it all maximus has a lot of good memories of this house

- comet, however. does not miss this room at all. and he's very happy to leave it behind when the events of the story begin. never put his ass in a room by himself ever again

- eunchae would have a prompt mental breakdown and try to kill everyone around her and then herself. and she'd also break every stupid furniture that was imposed upon her and this would help her vent her emotions so much. let her back in but with an axe and a metal baseball bat

* comet not girl strictly. take all gendered terms i use for eun-comet-maximus with a grain of salt. subject to change at all times, just like real life
