Sal Fisher Dating Hcs
Fandom ➜ Sallyface
Warnings ➜ None
• Oh he is sooo awkward before the two of you start dating. Genuinely has the fattest crush and gets so flustered whenever Larry teases him about it. Larry sometimes invites you to their hangouts without telling Sal just to see how bashful he gets and make fun of him for it later.
• Overthinks basically everything. Replays every single conversation in his head. “why did I say ‘see you later’ like that? Was that too friendly? Not friendly enough?”
• He plans to confess ten different times but chickens out every single one. He’ll be talking to himself in his head like, “okay, today is finally the day.” but then you smile at him and his brain just shuts off and he blurts out something dumb like, “Uhh, just wanted to tell you your shoelaces are untied.”
• When he finally does confess it’s quiet but honest. He’s not gonna do a big speech or anything. There’s a comfortable silence as he’s sitting next to you in his room fiddling with the strings on his guitar when he suddenly blurts out, “I like you. like a lot. I didn’t really mean to. I just do.”
• When you say you like him back his brain just short-circuits. He kinda doesn’t even believe it at first. “Are you serious? like, me-me?”
• Loves quality time and acts of service. He doesn’t need to go anywhere fancy or expensive. He prefers more laid back and intimate dates or hang outs like watching dumb movies together and laughing through the whole thing or staying up late talking about any and everything.
• Lowkey romantic without realizing it sometimes. Like remembering exactly how you drink your coffee or fixing the headphones you’ve been complaining about for weeks but shrugging it off and saying he “just likes to be helpful”
• Notices everything. You could just sigh once and he’d be like, “long day?” it feels like he can just read your mind sometimes.
• Larry’s teasing gets even worse. You and Sal could be just holding hands while walking down the empty school hallways and he’d just appear out of nowhere like, “Aww! Look who’s all lovey-dovey now.”
