VC Pride 2014
So today despite being a lil sick I went to Ventura County Pride which is always enjoyable to go to, it's a little small but they usually have live drag shows and nice booths to go to.
And like, I enjoy walking around finding things I can buy that are rainbow or imply how gay I am, (which ngl I am pretty gay for ladies, men, and lots of nonbinary people) BUT LIKE I don't like when people call me "miss" or "ma'am" or when with my friend ashley they refer to us as ladies, like especially at a place like Pride?
I feel like not assuming anyones gender is a thing that should happen at an event like Pride. Also this year they charged to enter Pride? Like this is the first year that I've gone that they've charged for it, and I don't know where the money is going to.
Like Pride was still fun and all! A booth was selling a Trans flag which was interesting to see since I hadn't seen the trans flag being sold before. Pride was way behind on schedule with the performers too. :I
