Someone just unironically asked what a VCR is and now I need to go talk to my doctor about getting a walker for this poor old body of mine...

I wish I still had some of my Hammer Anchor Bay clamshells, but I still have a good stash. Barring a rare studio re-release, Anchor Bay was the only company I knew that released letterboxed versions of films. I’d scrounge up every dollar I had for them and pick em up at either Record Runner or Chapters on Rideau. Frankenstein Created Woman was the first I bought, at $13.99 (I’d earned $250 singing at a funeral). Blank Generation and Herzog’s Nosferatu were other early acquisitions.
I have absolutely zero reason to own a Thorn EMI Dawn of the Dead VHS tape, but eBay is a fickle beast. Sigh. Should arrive in a week or so.

A few of these I've never seen.
