Valentine's Day is kind of a bullshit holiday, but this is our last one alone together. Chris has brought me breakfast and coffee in bed every day since I became an incubator, so today I made him breakfast instead. He responded by upstaging me with confections. I took a half day off work, and we are headed up to Boston for dinner and my first time (FINALLY) seeing Lemuria play. Tomorrow morning we have our anatomy scan, so I'm going to just let this be special.
I feel like this year didn't have nearly as many terrible valentines card posts as last year. V disappointing as those were my fave. If you find good ones tag me in them plzthx
I have zero qualms with VD day this year, but I still want to kill myself in all other aspects of my life, so there’s that.

It doesn't matter that I've been married for a bunch of years, and I've got solid confirmation that someone "likes" me. Valentine's Day will always be that day in high school where the popular girls had dozens of roses delivered to them in homeroom, and I spent another year feeling lonely and unlovable.
