After Daniel left Jeremy went out to pick up some food from the Grill. Dinner wasn't exactly his main focus for the night, but he didn't want to unload everything on her at once either. His sister was strong and pretty good with handling whatever was thrown at her, but they definitely had some catching up to do. With everything else that was going on over the past couple of months, Jeremy felt like they hadn't really sat down and talked in a while, so that's what they were going to do tonight. If they were going to survive all of this, they needed to have each other, that much he was sure of. That couldn't really happen if they were keeping things from each other though, and he hoped it wouldn't be that way between them anymore. A lesson he already learned, withholding the truth doesn't always protect someone.
He returned to their house with food in hand and went straight for the kitchen, not seeing Elena along the way. He was sure she was home now though, or at least he hoped she was. "Elena!" Jeremy called her name out as he placed the bag down on the counter before taking everything out of it. "I just picked up something from the Grill, figured we could focus on the catching up part instead of our lack of ability to cook." He grinned, thinking she was nearby now. "Have you heard anything about Caroline yet?" Jeremy wasn't sure of who all was looking for her at this point, but he thought somebody would have to find her soon.
