I wasn't going to say anything because I just want this to be a fun and cute blog full of oneshots and silly little reblogs but it's come to my attention how insensitive people are in this fandom.
First, as an author who posts things for free, I can talk about this. Authors (and artists) do not owe you anything at all. We could not publish for years and you'd just have to suck it up and move on. Authors have other things going on outside of writing. We are people too. Artists go through the same exact thing. “why isn't part 2 of this comic up yet”, artists are constantly critiquing their own works, they don't need that extra pressure. Instead of begging for more, compliment them, it's motivating.
Second, I am utterly disgusted by the amount of people who are still hating on others about who they ship within the fandom. Jily is just as valid as Jegulus. Rosekiller is just as valid as Bartylily. If you don't ship it, that's fine, scroll. You see, we are on these little things called screens, it's really cool, you just have to swipe and it'll go away. Crazy, I know.
Third, the hate is insane. Why are some people still yapping about how “they wouldn't be gay, it's the 70s!!!” or “couldn't be trans, it was the 70s!!!!!” newsflash! There were gay and trans people in the 70s you guys. Seriously shut up.
I'm so upset every time I come on here to see someone saying some stupid insensitive shit. Suck it the fuck up, grow some balls and turn off anon if your gonna say something hateful. Oh, or, DONT SAY IT AT ALL!!!!!
