Take a look at Vektropolis, what could have been a pretty epic retro futuristic vector shooter by Dark Computer Entertainment Ltd. Unfortunately it seems to have been cancelled.

Here is a new game developed by FileArchiveHaven, Vector Wars. I’ve already written about one of this developer-team applications and I said I will write about their other applications.

Story of Vector Wars:

” You are a million miles from earth, floating on a giant spaceship, when your suddenly attacked by ferocious enemies! It sure is a good thing you took two days of training at the Academy… more or less. But don’t worry, your snarky sidekick will be glad to walk you through everything you need to get started.

The time has come to protect Anna, the folks on board the mothership, and bring the revenge of humankind on those wobbly space aliens!”

FileArchiveHaven developer sais he chellenged to develope a “simple Top-Down style shooting game”.

How to play?

Save your nickname and password. You can after this, connect your Twitter account to share your scores.

Use the virtual left joystick to move your ship.

Use the virtual joysticck right to shoot the enemy ships.

Avoid enemy ships and collect the coins.

You can change your ship. These ones have different bonusses.

Vector Wars Features:

In-app free and advertisement free (sad that this needs to be stated these days)

Engage a dozen different types of enemies, with varying speed, strength and skill.

Watch out for the space choppers! They will try to hunt you down.

There are 3 types of ships to unlock.

Do you want to sacrifice speed for power and defense?

A faster ship with a quicker reload?

Or the stock-issued standard model ship (by the way, we believe it’s name is Betsy).

Optional cross platform online score system

22 different unlockable upgrades for your ships

Make them faster, add more default lives, or make your ship stronger!
