as someone who hasn’t played the original FFVII, how similar is the Remake to it? aside from the alternate timeline happenings I’ve seen you mention. would you suggest I should still play the original still? (only on Chapter 9 rn)

The Remake has not a lot of major plot changes, except the ending, which diverts completely from the original game.

Anyway, playing FFVII is always a good idea. This way you will appreciate the Remake more for both the similarities and the differences.

I stopped drawing years ago because I never really improved. my goal for the new year is to try to pick it up again. how does one find their “style” - got any suggestions for that? I always struggled with it. yours is very adorable and unique! ✨

Your style is something that’s gonna develop the more you draw. When I was starting out, I tried to draw characters in a way that emulated some of my favorite parts of other artists’ style-- like the way eyes or hands were drawn, for instance-- while still doing other things in the art style I had in my head but couldn’t follow through with my hand haha.

The longer you draw, the more comfortable you’ll become in drawing things your own way. You’ll find you like drawing faces in a certain way, or coloring in a particular style.

Just be patient, keep experimenting, and have fun <3

it was only just this year I learned that Placebo’s version of Running Up That Hill was not the original and that the song was actually a cover from the 80s! I’ve had Meg Myers cover on repeat recently. it’s my personal favorite and it has such an unique music video!

I personally dont vibe with the placebo version just cause I’ve never really enjoyed that style of vocals, BUT, the meg myers version ABSOLUTELY slaps my ass, love it
