Vedette Rapide... the remote controlled French ship G.I.Joe. So far, only one copy of the Vedette Rapide boat has been found in French packaging (with the inscription Heros Sans Frontieres under the G.I.Joe logo), which means that it was also an exclusive local product (despite the fact that someone announced it as a UK exclusive in the past). Size-wise, it's suitable for 3.75" figures, but it's a little smaller than it should be, so it's not perfect. There are no pegs on the platform and there are almost no barriers or details to the that a figure can hold on to. The large platform, held together by metal screws, is not particularly pretty or Joe-esque, but it is suitable for an R/C boat. Nothing can be opened on it, figures cannot be placed on the hull and only the torpedoes can be removed, but they also do not fit as usual on Joe. The stickers are large and bold. The front barrel, on the other hand, can be rotated. The Vedette Rapide was marketed until 1990, but only a number were produced so it’s a very small number of specimens, which makes it extremely rare today and evidently expensive. So far 3 pieces have appeared on the great international auction portal throughout its history, and it was probably not easy to obtain them at that time either.
