Computer, how would a berrybot thumb war go both worst case and best case scenario👀???
Vee/Sprout: Childhood HCs
AN: started out with just the thumb war then got way more ideas lol
Vee is a very competitive child!
She's given her show personality as a kid. So she had all these memories of being so smart, and rational, and respected. And when she isn't immediately showered him adoration she believes she's personally wronged.
Even though it's mostly because she's a kid. She knows a lot of information, but she doesn't have any life experience.
So, safe to say her and Sprout fight a lot.
Sprout doesn't even tend to get competitive on his own, but Vee always knows how to get on his nerves. So, he ends up having to prove he can do it!
Vee would win the thumb war, but she wasn't really playing fair.
For one thing, she's made of metal and much stronger than the other kids. She is the type of kid to use her whole body weight, get up out of her seat for a height advantage.
They end up wrestling for real half of the time. And Vee still plays dirty. Not even really letting him fight back by just pinning him done and teasing him.
While adult Vee knows there are some things she isn't good at, kid Vee honestly believes she is better than everyone at everything. It's only after she gets humbled multiple times that she stops being so bratty. She's even disrespectful to her handler. Pushes her around a lot.
She's definitely challenged Sprout to a race before. That did not go well for her.
She's always had movement issues. She's fallen face first before. She tried to forget her cringe moments as a kid. Especially because almost everytime she failed at something it was right after she bragged about how easy said thing would be.
I feel like Sprout was like the one that had to grow up to fast in the group. He has such an over protective personality.
I can she how as a kid he feels like he needs to be there for all his friends. Worry about them. Comfort them.
Part of the reason him and Vee dont get along as kids. Because me some very selfish child. Everything needs to be her way or the highway. I don't necessarily think she believes the other Tunes
She does bully Sprout though. She thinks he's a chump. I don't think she realizes how hurtful she's being. She's having fun, so she doesn't really see how Sprout can't be having fun.
Not that Sprout just takes the bullying. She has always fought back. Vee truly believes that's just him playing along with her.
I genuinely think she's hit Dandy before. She's only did it once. Delilah... nipped that behavior in the bud quickly.
Veronica (Vee's handler) had a lot of trouble handling Vee. Vee saw her as weak and stupid so she never listened to her. Plus Vee saw Veronica would get in trouble when Vee didn't do whay she was supposed to. So she would use that to make Veronica do what SHE wanted. I HC that Veronica had zero back bone to the point where so could get pressed by a child.
But eventually Delilah deals with Vee. When he behaviot gets to the point where she hits Dandy. By hurting her. And to make sure she can keeo track of Vee she connects her camera to the rest of her camera system so she can access it whenever she wants.
Sprout had a very strict handler. Sam yells at him a lot. Sprout hates his last name because Sam would yell his full name when he was in trouble.
So, best case scenario of a thumb war? Sprout loses, but Vee didn't even find it a fun win and forces him to play gameshow instead.
Worse case? Vee wins, then pins him down and forces him to glaze her until she's satisfied. And MAYBE she'll let him go.
I do think Vee had a crush on him. She just doesn't know it. She wont realize for a long time. She just knows he's entertaining to play around with.
VEE PASS THE CONTROLLER!!!! Genuinely don't know why she don't want this fine specimen. She. Angel Goob <33333
I do have an angel/demon AU but I only think about it every now and then.
I was having a lot of funny drawing his leaves.
Gave up for these ngl.
😍😍😍 had a lot of fun drawing Shrimpo's outfits! Dont question how Shrimpo is wearing her hat. Well, the answer is like how Jotaro in jjba has his hair fusing with his cape. Shrimpo just cut the back out lol.
All these drawing i was interpreting Snrimpo as a Transwomen, to be clear.
Ngl didn't really try for these Vee drawings. Did my girl dirty.
AHHHHHH look at Shrimpo being a good partner and carrying her girlfriends bags!!! Even tho she wants to kill Glisten. She's still behaving! Bassie likes Glisten she is just Hella overstimulated and has like no social battery left.
A Toon of Metal And Circuits, But a Toon Still: Vee/Sprout
Summary: Vee helps Sprout cook. It gets sappy.
CW: just domestic fluff, a tiny bit of angst.
Clank. Clank. Clank.
Vee wasn't known for her stealth capabilities. Loud voice, loud personality, loud fashion sense, and loud foot steps. So, sufficed to say Sprout could tell Vee was in bound before she even crossed the threshold into the kitchen.
Sprout greeted her over his shoulder. Hmmmm... the stew was looking pretty good so far.
Her foot steps stopped right beside him. "You need anything?" Vee peered into Sprout's pot. One arm stretched behind his back, palm resting at his hip. A small touch in the grand scheme of things, but it was the casualness of it that got him straight in the heart.
Sprout pressed a kiss to the to of Vee's head. "Hmmm, Can you chop up the peppers for me, love?"
Vee gave Sprout a gentle squeeze before letting go to do as she was told. Always straight to the point that one. Anyway, food. Sprout inspected the mixture in his pot as Vee got the peppers from the fridge, cutting board, knife, and a pair of gloves. Sprout didn't use gloves when making meals for the other Toons, but Vee couldn't exactly wash her hands!
She was very precised and particular about dicing. As she was about most things. All the same size. Perfect technique. Sprout didn't like to admit it, but she was better at it than him! But, come on! With the rushes he faces he didn't have time to worry about the details! Who actually pays attention to diced peppers?
Still, he enjoyed when she came by. To talk, or just watch him cook, or help him, like she is now.
It warmed his heart. This sounded stupid and sappy, but... it was like they were a married couple, or something. Sprout flustered himself just from the thought.
Guh! Head in the game Sprout! You have a lot of hungry Toons waiting. No, time to think about that! He needed to add the potatoes. Hm, needs some salt and uh...
The fluttering feeling just wouldn't go away.
Damn, robot!
"What's got you smiling like that?" Vee had finished her task, just looking quizically at the strawberry
"Oh... that obvious?"
"Yep."
"Well..." He set down the spoon he had been using to stur the pot. His eyes flicked to the side. Yeah... so nonchalant, Sprout... "Just thinking about you."
Vee hummed, interest clearly peaked. "Oh?" Vee reached out to him, letting both of their hands intertwine. "Quite the charmer today?" She teased.
Sprout rolled his eyes. More forced then usual. Why did she have to make everything feel so... embarrassing! Still, her tail was wagging and... he wanted her to know he cared. Even if it wasn't how they usually interacted. Even if he knew no matter how heartfelt he is she'll tease him to no end about it later. After a few moments of silence Sprout pulled her into a hug. As tight as he possibly could. His face nestled into the crook of her neck. "I just really appreciate you coming to cook with me. It's been a tough day, but..." the last part came out quiter. "When im with you i can forget about all that. God, my heart beats for you, you know that? I know we fight and joke around a lot, but I need you to know you're so precious to me. I wish I could just keep you safe here with me forever. Wish I could spend my days pampering you, and making you laugh, and- sorry im rambling. I just love you so much."
Vee's fans clacked on. The deep droning buzz vibrated through his body as gusts of hot air poured from her vents. "Eh-" Sprout went to pull back, wanting to check up on her.
Over heating was serious problem! He should have been more careful! He's so stupid, so selfish, so- Vee hugged him back tightly, keeping him in place. "You're so cringy..." She trailed off, speaking again after a bit. "But uh... I love you too."
"Awwwwwwwww!" Sprout couldn't help but swoon. He wanted so badly to see her face. She must look so adorable! She sounded so shyyyyyyy!
"Stooop... it's not a big deal... we're literally dating!"
Every word she said, coated with her brand of faux casual and logical, still effected him. Because he knew it was all just her mask. Every, 'I guess' really meant it was a feeling too intense to admit. Guh! When did he fall so madly in love with her?
Sprout tried to pull away, and after a moment she let him. He used this opportunity to peak at her screen. Just as beautiful as always. Even more so with that perfect blush, averted gaze. Her arms crossed over her chest, but it read less confident than usual paired with her drooping antenna.
Sprout smiled softly, admiration swirled in his chest. He alone got to see her like this. Her cold exterior melted way to reveal... another Toon. The parts of herself that didn't reflect her "personality chip". Or her show counterpart, or how Delilah decided they should be.
She was just Vee.
Vee finally met his gaze after long moments of one sided staring. "I hate when you do that..." She muttered.
"Do what?" Sprout placed each hand on her hips, pulling her ever so slightly closer. His voice was gentle.
She grabbed hold of Sprout's scarf, eyes locked there too. Metal fingers glided over the fabric rhythmically. "...when you look at me like that... it makes me- I feel like... I'm loosing control of my code." She let out a crackling sigh. Her screen pressed against his chest. "... you're worse than a virus. I-i don't even know who I am anymore!"
"...Vee-"
"And the scariest part is I don't want this to stop. Deep inside myself I- I like this. What does that say about me?" She looked up at him then. Eyes wide, searching for answers in his expression alone.
Sprout smiled warmly at her. "A Toon. Just like everyone else." He pressed a peck to her screen. "My favorite Toon I might add."
Vee's tail wagged, perking up visibly. "Over Cosmo?"
"Eh... don't make me put you two against eachother!"
"You said I'm you're favorite!"
"You're both my favorites."
"Why? I should be the winner? I'm clearly the best option in all things! Im smarter, my-"
Aaaaaaand back to regularly scheduled programming.
She went on like that for 30 minutes as he continued to make the other Toons dinner. She never did get a straight answer about who was his favorite, much to her dismay.
Summary: The score for Garden View's upcoming movie needs to be recorded. So, The Petals have to practice it, along with the usual songs they play for the show.
First Chapter
Astro raised one of his stars up, looping it in a quick circle to signify the cut off a moment later. All the other Mains stopped playing as instructed. Astro spoke quietly in the silence. "Gourdey, you're still 2 beats behind."
"Sorry..." He mumbled, hugging his French horn closer to his chest. His feet kicked awkwardly as he talked. "Can I get help with this rhythm?"
Astro let out one long yawn, nodding in the place of words. He set down his flute before making his way to Gourdey. "Okay... where's your pencil?"
"Ummmm..."
Vee should probably use this time to practice that dumb ass key change. Astro hadn't mentioned her fuck up yet, and she wasn't going to give him a reason to. She really should have done a little more than a quick glance of the sheet music before rehearsal.
And normally she would have, but she's just been so drained lately. Her cable must be broken... is what she keeps telling herself. Once the new one came in this whole ordeal would be behind her.
She played through the transition to the key change a couple of times before Astro finished up with Gourdey.
"Okay, let's start from measure-" He let out another big yawn. "...Actually, let's take a 30 minute break?"Astro didn't wait for any acknowledgments from the others before he made a b-line to Vee.
How silly.
He looked like he might pass out before he even made it the few feet to her. Body hunched, hat slipping over his eye. But he made no move to fix it. She gave him a smile before opening her arms. His lips only curled slightly in response. Silently, he climbed into her lap. His chin rested on her shoulder, wrists hooked on her waist, hands dangling off them. A full body sigh, then Astro groaned softly. "Can you-"
Poor thing
"Timer's already set. Get some rest." One hand rubbed his back.
He hummed happily, nuzzling into her neck. Soon his breathing slowed, asleep.
Good.
The bot's heart squeezed with each soft breath, or sleepy mumble. Guh! Astro shouldn't have to work so hard! It hurt her heart so much to see him so tired! She angled her head just enough so she could see his face. As much as she can with him squished against her anyway. Gently, she pressed her screen to his forehead. Yeah... it was silly. She didn't have a mouth. Her metal couldn't possibly be comfortable for him. He must do this just to make her feel better.
How pathetic.
Still... she appreciated it.
...
Well- anyway!
She's got that keychange down. Let's look over the next song in the score. The PDF of the sheet music was quickly opened in a new window. Okay, D major, 6/8 time, no key changes, looks simple enough. Just as her fingers brushed the keys a cheerful ding, signifying a new Veemail, sounded.
Ugh... what now?
It was Dandicus. Though, she changed his name on her end a long time ago. Compost just seemed fitting! Normally, she would leave him on delivered, but it was marked as important and if there was ONE good thing she could say about the flower is when he said important it actually was. Vee leaned back in her chair as she read the Veemail. Giving pets to Astro's head.
Good morning!
Sorry to interrupt rehearsal, but I need the scripts printed. The printer in my office is broken. Could you print these out on the one down there? Just hand them out to everyone while you're at it. Thank you, you're a life saver!
P.S. Ms. Keen now wants the score ready to be recorded by next week. It's also a good idea to have Toons study their lines as soon they get the script. I'm sure you can do it!
Mother fucker!
Why should she even help him? He's the oh so amazinghost of the show. Surely he could figure it out himself!
...
Now she's just being a bitch for no reason. Even though she would love to see Dandy get his ass handed to him for failing to meet Delilah's demands... she supposed that would be taking it too far. Besides, they really should practice their lines as soon as possible.
It didn't take long to connect to the printer backstage. A glance over the PDF given proved it to be over 100 pages long. That times all of the Toons that needed them? It was going to be a while.
If that wasn't enough an alert blinking at the side of her screen called her attention. Uggghhhh! Fuck her life! How in the hell is she already at 40%? Dread pooled, like black tar, in her abdomen. Sticking to her wires and weighting them down.
She pushed that feeling away with a shake of her head. No worries, she could charge. There's still plenty of time left for break. Everything's fine.
Carefully, she carried Astro backstage with her. Her cable should still be plugged into the wall next to the love seat.
A pair of hushed voices could be heard as she walked closer. Just her luck.
"Dude, you know I love you, but you've got to mind your own business."
"It is my business, Cos."
Berryboy and Cosmo...
From the sound of it they were sitting in the little lounge. Exactly where she needed to go. Damnitdamnitdamnitdamnit.
"No, it's not. She hasn't even asked for help."
"She's never going to ask me."
Wait... were they? Vee leaned against the wall next to the opening to the room, shifting Astro's weight so his forehead didn't thunk against the wall. The stupid berry was at it again. Why wouldn't he just leave her alone!? She could handle herself just fin-
"Have you ever thought that Bassie doesn't need help?"
Oh.
.
Well, good! She hated Sprout's stupid worrying anyway!
With that she passed through the threshold with confidence. Without even glancing at the other two she snatched up her wire and made her way back to the stage.
That should haven been it. Once she plugged her wire into the same power strip her keyboard was attached to she could practice some more. Try to relax.
But life hasn't been on her side lately...
Vee could feel his presence before he spoke. "Is your cable damaged, or something?"
What is he, a stalker now?
She groaned. "No." Eyes stood glued to her keyboard, even as Sprout stood beside her.
He crossed his arms. "Well, something has to be wrong. You had your cable yesterday to-"
"You're going to wake Astro."
Sprout leaned into her vision. His face dead panned. "He can sleep through fireworks."
"Leave me alone, Seedly." She finally locked eyes with him, challenging.
Sprout threw his hands up. "You are unbelievable! Let me-"
"Beeelieve it, baby!"
He seemed to have lost his words at that. Face twisted up in frustration, hand tugging at his leaves. Maybe the better way to describe it isn't a lost for words, but a strained attempt to keep the harsher ones in check. What a jackass.
Vee waved him off, brushing her fingers against the keys ones again. "Make yourself useful and run down to printer. The scripts should be printing. They're going to need staples."
He stayed silent at her side for a few moments. Limbs stiff. With a shake of his head, he grumbled some affirmative word she couldn't quite make out and leaves.
Break had almost ended by the time he came back. Astro was already stirring by then. Just leaning against Vee's shoulder, rubbing his eyes.
The stupid berry passed out scripts to the other Toons. Eventually he came to the two of them. Sprout smiled softly at Astro. "Hey, I've got the script. Here's your copy."
Astro gave a little smile and nod in return. One little star reach out and placed the packet in his lap.
Another one was held out to Vee. She looked down at it then tapped her head wordlessly.
He waved the packet closer to her face. "Hello?"
"I've got the PDF downloaded, dumbass." She rolled her eyes.
Sprout glared at the T.V. His patience was definitely wearing thin, but she didn't care. The 2nd copy was passed to Astro. "Happy birthday!" He was just about to turn away when his name was called.
Just then, a couple of other Toons made their way onto the stage. Da Boyz. The silly band name Fin came up with. He, Goob, Shrimpo, and Bassie, greeted the other Toons. Well, Shrimpo didn't say anything. Vee was surprised he even showed up to rehearsal.
"Hello, Vee! Sprout, Astro! We were just wondering how much longer you all were going to use the stage for?" Bassie's hands worried with her skirt.
Astro sat up. He still seemed like his mind was booing up. His words came out slow, confused. "Hmm... I thought... wait... are you guys next?"
Bassie looked away bashfully. "No... I was just u-um hoping- only if you guys don't need the time! If um..."
Goob chimed in before Astro could speak again. "Pleeeaaaaaase? We actually got Shrimpo to come practice!" One paw pulled the shrimp Toon foward. To which he batted the craft away with a string of curses. Goob seemed to ignore that, focusing on pleading their case. "We can't loose this good mojo!" His paws clasped together. An awfully pathetic pout pulled at his lips. "Pretty please with cherries on tooooop?"
Bassie cleared her throat. "Yes, what Goob said."
The other mains glanced at Astro. Oh god
Well, that was that. Astro was too much of a chump to resist his boyfriend. Frankly, Vee wasn't going to fight to practice more. So, all The Petals packed up their things as the The other band brought in theirs.
Vee sent Astro to bed, so she took care of his things as well. It shouldn't have taken long, regardless, but she found herself stalling.
Totally not because Sprout pulled Bassie aside to 'talk.' Why would she care about something like that? He worried his sick little head off about every Toon, and that wasn't her problem anymore!
Still... maybe she was a bit curious about what they could be talking about. What? Glisten was rubbing off on her, that's all!
They were on the other side of the stage so she couldn't possibly hear them, and she wasn't very good at reading lips. Something about Sprout being concerned- well duh?! That's his whole thing. Bassie said something about Shrimpo, thats for sure. Aaand... uh...
They were talking to fast for her to follow.
Then, they hugged.
A quick one, more like a strange pat on the back from Bassie. Still... she just... That kind of sappy stuff was annoying! Especially, when berryboy was involved! She's just glad he's off her back, for once!
Totally.
Well, she should be going to her room now. She still needed to charge.
Yeah. Totally.
The other two mains had separated. She spared one last glance at Sprout before heading out.
Just wanted to draw my babies <3333 love how this one came out! Sprout looks so content in her arms! Like he can finally relax. He worries too much <333
Sprout rizzs he up from time to time. The middle one was one of those times. He makes Vee melt more than she'd like to admit. She's a tsundere through and through <333
Size difference 😍 I HC Shrimpo as a Transwomen sometimes. That's the energy I was feeling here. Ive gone into more detail on that in my last art post.
I definitely think Shrimpo would smoke if she had access to cigarettes. She didn't necessarily want to get Bassie into it, but she did. I think Bassie would easily fall into vices like that. I think Shrimpo would want to get clean for Bassie. She doesn't care about herself, but doesn't like the idea of Bassie ruining her life.
Hehe Vee fit check!
I love dressing Bassie up like a little doll! She gets more adventurous with clothing when they leave Gardenview. Gets tattoos. Just discovers who she really is and what she wants in life!
All just because I love drawing Vee! She's so cool <333=
I dont usually imagine Vee in heels, but I felt like spicing it up! I like drawing shoes in general.
Honestly, runs were boring as FUCK! All Vee did was turn valves for hours. So, sufficed to say she was clocked out most of the time. Usually she played chess to pass the time, but how many rounds of chest can you play with yourself before you went insane?
The answer? 205, and a half.
Things were going well, and that was part of the problem. Goob handled the twisteds well, Sprout had all the tapes he needed, everyone's pockets were stuffed with goodies, no injuries. They'd be here for 30 more floors at this rate!
Vee trudged to the next machine. Turning the value, again, and again, and again...
Ugggghhhh...
Her eyes drifted around the room. There had to be SOMETHING to entertain herself with?
Nope.
Same old posters, same old desks, same old plushies...
Well, there's a tape over there.
Vee sighed as she used her free hand to click on her walkie talkie. "Sprout, there's a tape over here. Left of broke, near the bookshelf."
He answered immediately. "Coming."
Bing!
Aaaaand that machine's done. There was a couple more to do, but she didn't feel like it. Finn will get them done just fine. Instead she leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
As usual, Sprout was bounding down the hallway mear moments later. What a try hard. Still, the sight of him brought a small smile to her face. He was maybe 2 feet away when she got an idea. A very mischievous idea. Just before he could grab it Vee snatched up the tape herself.
Sprout was not impressed. "Wow, so funny, Vee. Give it here." He reached out, but Vee hid it behind her back.
"Nope."
"Really?"
"Yep!"
They stared eachother down for a few looong moments. Vee, smug as ever. Sprout, already feeling a headache come on. No one moved, hardly took in oxygen.
Then something snapped and Vee bolted down the hall.
"You little-" Sprout was on her ass in a second. Damn, strawberry was too quick! She didn't even make it far! He grabbed her around her middle. Trying, and mostly failing to stop her from wriggling out of his grasp. "Give it!"
"Never bitch!" With an elbow to the gut she was free. She stumbled to the ground, pushing herself back up before Sprout could recover.
"God damn..." Sprout held his side as he watched her run. Under his breath he grumbled. "It's so on."
Fuck that wasn't going to stop him for long! Alerts beeped on her screen. She could only run for long, and Sprout had the speed advantage. If she wanted to escape him she needed- YES! Vee spotted that specific shade of blue out of the corner of her eye.
Astro slumped against a machine, asleep. Quickly veering off to sprint towards him, Vee shouted. "Astro! Astro!" The other main practically jumped out of his skin. His head whipped around to her voice. "Gimmie stam!"
"H-huh?!"
Thud thud thud thud.
Oh shit! Sprout was back! "Astrooo!"
"O-okay!" Just as Vee came into range a cool puff of air blanketed her. Thankfully, Sprout was just too far away. Astro only gawked as Vee almost toppled him over. "Thank you!" She shouted over her shoulder.
Then Sprout zipped past and around the corner, hot on her tail. "Uh..." Astro rubbed at his eye. "Am I wake...?"
Thanks to Astro she had just enough stamina to... come up with a plan! Yeah, she wasn't usually type of Toon to wing it, but she's always been good under pressure.
She ran into a room with several kiddy tables, using them to force the strawberry into a spontaneous game of ring around the rosey. This only back fired when he used his brain for once, volting himself over the table. She narrowely escaped. Mostly because Sprout tripped over a chair. To his credit he bounced back quickly. For a moment he stopped at the other side of one, panting. She was willing to bet she had the stamina lead.
Idea!
She couldn't risk letting him regenerate stamina so she just ran to her next objective. A more secluded metal shelving unit. It was aaalll going to plan! She ran along it. Just as Sprout lunged forward to grab her she ducked behind it, sending the strawberry face first into the ground. Vee wasted no time clamoring on top of him. Heavy metal pinned down his arms and legs easily. A triumphant cackle ripped from her speakers. "Suck it, Seedly!"
Sprout struggled, but there was no use. "You are such a child! Just give me the tape!"
"Not until you saaaaaay..." She hummed in thought. "Oh! 'Vee is the smartest, and you are a big dumb smooth brain.'"
Sprout scoffed. "What?"
"You know you could make a pretty comfy seat." She put more of her weight on him, only letting up when he coughs out air. "Come ooooon, Seedly~" She leaned closer, enunciating each syllable of his last name.
A few more weak attempts to break free only proved he had no choice but to do as she says. But what did he expect? Ha! "F-fine!" Sprout grumbled several curses under his breath. "... Vee is the smartest... and I'm just a big dumb smooth brain."
With that Vee laughed again. The kind that made it just that bit harder to control her limbs. She stumbled as she scooted off of him. Sprout sat up, sulking. When Vee saw that face she laughed harder. Lips twisted up in grin, arms holding her heaving stomach, tail wagging in pulses. Some barely intelligible words snuck past laughs. Something about him being a dummy, or a sucker, or whatever else.
It was like that for a few moments. Sprout just staring at the bot. You know... before the two of them started this... uh... thing he never thought Vee was capable of acting like this. Playful. Could you blame him for that assumption? Even when they were kids she never wanted to play unless it was gameshow. Still, the way she played was less of a mutual game, and more like she wanted to direct every little thing. So yeah, this was different. Way different.
Even if her idea of 'play' was picking on him, like a school yard bully, it was kind of...
He muttered, "You're lucky you're cute..." words barely actualized before he pulled her in for a kiss. Vee froze, but snapped out of it quickly. Hands grasped at his clothes, keeping him there until her screen fogged from his breath. When he pulled back he cupped the side of her head. "You got that out your system yet?" His other arm wiped at her screen gently with his sleeve. Eyes soaked up each of her features with annoying reverence. "Hm?"
Metal hands wandered to his scarf. Tugging and fidgeting with it's placement. Just so he didn't look like a total idiot, of course! "Uh." Her tail flicked at the ground as she thought. "Probably."
Sprout chuckled. Another kiss was pecked to her screen before standing up. He held his hand out to help Vee up too. She gave him a once over before taking it. A more familiar sly grin formed. Sprout shook his head in that slow amused way "You are something else."
"I know." The tape was held out to him. Just as he reached for it she yanked it back. A giggle cracked from her speaker, and honestly Sprout couldn't tell if he was more frustrated by her antics or how those antics made him feel.
With a defeated whine Sprout shook Vee by her shoulders. "Women just give the taaape!"
She purred out her next words, tape pushed to his chest. "Fiiiiine, I suppose my berry's been good."
Jesus Christ...
Deep breath in... deep breath out...
He found his hands stalling. Sliding down her biceps, forearms, and finding their home on her hips. "You are a menace."
"Don't act like you don't like it." She pushed onto her tippy toes for another kiss, but Sprout pressed his fingers to her screen. The immediate frown had his own lips curl at the corners. "You know better than to misbehave like this"
"Ew." So she said, but everything from her wagging tail to the 3 lines of blush on her screen told a different story.
"Don't act like you don't like it." He teased.
And with that he finally took back what was owed to him. He turned the tape over as he walked away. Checking for damage, Dandy was pain about what he accepted. This one seem perfect, though.
In a Sprout Seedly approved reality that would have been it. However, Vee was never fond of making things easy for him.
The idea popped up unprompted. Spawned from residual adrenaline, frightening affection, and the insatiable need to have the 'last laugh'. Definitely nt the wisest choice, but appealing none the less. She didn't even look to see if another Toon was around before she smacked his ass.
"Ow!" Sprout's head swiveled back, gobsmacked, face flushed.
Mmmm, just perfect.
Vee simply walked off, calling over her shoulder. "See you later, Seedly."
