drew this in the middle of the night as if waking up from a cold sweat.

Also entitled “lost girl”. the circles on Dess…. Both are meant to callback to the Roaring Knight, except with the additional idea of being a deer in headlights, or a deer being hunted down; the circle on her chest, being similar to what is revealed to be in the Knight’s chest when it roars, is drawn like a scope’s target.

I was meant to render this more, but…. the feeling and meaning of it all is what mattered most, and it all started coming together…. As this was themed around dreams and psychosis, it was also fitting that it came off as more of an impression.

The boxy codes are actually a variant of the PIGPEN CIPHER that I was obsessed with as a kid and can fluently write in. If you want to try to translate them yourself, look below! If you just want a translation, go further.
