Pooja Dadwal, who starred alongside Salman Khan in Veergati is currently looking to make a comeback in Bollywood. Last year, Pooja was diagnosed with tuberculosis and had spent six months in a hospital in Mumbai's Sewri. During that period, her financial conditions were also not good and that was when Salman Khan stepped in and bore all her medical expenses.  'Salman invested lakhs of rupees in my treatment' 

Pooja said, "Even after months of treatment, when there was no significant improvement in my health, Khan's team started emphasising on my diet. They sent me different types of proteins and supplements and also sent me clothes of Being Human, which I am wearing even today." "After six months when I got discharged from the hospital, I decided to return to Goa but I did not have a place to stay there. So the Being Human team first accommodated me in a resort and later arranged a rental home for me. They spent a lot of money and bought food, drinks and other essential things for me," she said thanking the superstar. excerpt from interview
