Took Vefry on a much deserved vacation to Dierdre’s steps! We had a bit of a rocky start with the Daredevil spec but hey, he’s finally LvL 80!

🖊 for Luaineach! But also 🖊🖊🖊 for anyone you’d most like to talk about~

🖊Luaineach’s theme originally was ghosty/spooky/maybe ghost hunter, and I still have no damn idea how to actually do that storywise (or in matters of fashion wars, beyond the haunted rifle), so who knows what outfit and lore I’ll yeet at him next? I certainly don’t, send help

🖊Illysme, who goes by Lilly for a nickname, has never gotten an ask directed at her, so! She’s my sweet mostly-manic-pixie, and a little bit dream girl ADHD firecracker! She’s beyond nosy, has little to no sense of private space, scoots from hyperfixation to hyperfixation at light speed and leaves glitter in her wake! She travels a lot, always needing a new experience, a new sight. I have 2 eles who each specialise in 2 elements, and Lilly’s are air and water~

🖊Vefry is one of my personal favourites, I gotta admit. I’m really proud of his look, and the general feeling of him. He survived serious abuse by the hands of the Inquest and has been fighting to feel at home in his body, and not like a monster, ever since. Which is hard, because they literally turned his blood and sap to a poison strong enough to injure anyone who touches him (because he’s oozing the stuff as well.) But through all of that he keeps a smile, and if isolated, is friendly and generous to anyone new! I really admire him, and want him to be happy.

🖊Siocáir doesn’t get a lot of attention either, but he’s such an interesting character to me because his is the whole conflict of “do selfish means devalue good deeds?” and I really wonder if he’ll ever meet someone he can truly, deeply care about as an individual, not just part of a friend group. Plus, he’s a knight without a cause at the moment!

Illysme ✴ N: Never Have I Ever

1. what would they never do?

Betray someone. She doesn’t have it in her.

2. what have they never done that they want to do?

There’s a TON of things, and getting to do all that stuff, from mundane to crazy, is pretty much what Lilly spends her time with.

3. is there anything they absolutely can’t believe people do?

Live in the same city, or even house their whole lives. Hell, make her spend more than an hour in the same room and she’ll literally start going up the walls.

4. what is the most embarrassing thing they’ve done?

Stuck a finger in someone’s cleavage to get out a bug that she had noticed land there. (Good on her that she’s so cute.)

5. have they done anything they thought they’d never do?

Lilly doesn’t really assume there’s things she wouldn’t do (though there are), so no!

Vefry ✴ N: Never Have I Ever

1. what would they never do?

Hurt a living being in his research. He’s adamant about that.

2. what have they never done that they want to do?

Go swimming at a beach or bay during bathing season, like a normal person. He’s terrified that some of his poison might get in the water (despite the counteragent injections), so it’s not happening atm.

3. is there anything they absolutely can’t believe people do?

Pee in public. What sort of undignified boarish habit…?

4. what is the most embarrassing thing they’ve done?

Sneezed on a librarian while trying to borrow a book. The librarian got away with itchy skin, and now teases him about it whenever he shows up.

5. have they done anything they thought they’d never do?

Vef actually hit Zazeat in the face once. Not that he didn’t deserve it. Zaz runs his mouth a bit too harshly sometimes, and in this case talked shit about Lilly, when Vefry had just met her. Zaz agrees a bitchslap was the appropiate reaction, but back then Vefry went nonverbal for a week after and still feels horrible about raising his hand.

More dice-throwing, babey! Sorry, that’s not really “choice”, but it’s more fun for me this way, forces me to think about something else than the “easy options” v.v I’ll try to spread it evenly, though!

🐢 - What type of animal would they keep for a pet? ✴ Luaineach

You’d think he’d want something quiet and elegant like a snake, but he really just wants something cute to ease his eyes and mind a little. I’d imagine a cat who loves to curl up on his lap (it makes him feel very special) or just a pair of fluffy bunnies. He’d be like “tch… pathetic, vulnerable creatures, so fragile” and then one of his pets would roll on its back and present its belly for a rub and for a moment he’d just stare at it trying not to cry because they trust him so much.

📓 - If your character keeps a journal, what is the most secret thought they keep in it? ✴ Siocáir

Siocáir is barely literate, if you forced him to read a whole book, you’d have to revive him after. He does however have a little sylvan puppy called Lancelot whom he takes everywhere, and when he sets up camp for the night he tells her of his day, like a journal. The most vulnerable thought he has entrusted her with is that often he doesn’t actually care very much about the people he saves, or calls his friends. It scares him, so you won’t hear him telling anyone else.

💡 - What is the best idea your character ever had? ✴ Vefry

It’s a little difficult to pin down “best idea,” but Vefry is pretty thankful for the scientific process that led to discovering an antidote to his poisonous “blood.” The toxine coats his skin and oozes out of his ribcage sometimes, and after meeting Illysme and even considering something like a romantic relationship he began developing a substance that neutralizes it, if injected once a day.He skips the injection on days he knows he’ll spend fighting - the poison doesn’t hurt him, and anyone who thinks to stab him is in for a nasty surprise.The same project gave him the idea to experiment whether his nutrition influences the effects of his poison.
