Ingredients: 4-5 medium-sized cucumbers, sliced. 2 cups water. 1 cup white vinegar. 3 tablespoons sea salt. 2 tablespoons sugar. 4 cloves garlic, smashed. 2 teaspoons whole black peppercorns. 2 teaspoons dill seeds. 2 teaspoons mustard seeds. 2 sprigs fresh dill.
Instructions: In a saucepan, combine water, vinegar, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring until the salt and sugar dissolve. Remove from heat and let the brine cool to room temperature. In a clean jar, layer the sliced cucumbers, garlic cloves, peppercorns, dill seeds, mustard seeds, and fresh dill sprigs. Pour the cooled brine over the cucumbers, ensuring they are fully submerged.
