Do you happen to know anyone who has pelvis/leg bones from these birds: penguin, kiwi, emu? Or any bird bones of particular interest? I am looking to compare either diving behavior in different species of penguins or compare bipedalism b/e kiwi and emu, both ratites of very different sizes. I just need good pictures, not the actual bones. I figure european vultures probably more likely to have these things.

I don't know anyone sadly :( But, this is the sort of thing museums should be able to help with! Try contacting as many museums as you can and ask for photos and measurements. I don't know how promptly they'll get back to you but such a question is the sort of things museums collections aim to help with :)

Have you tried trapping with those humane haveaheart traps? They are really beneficial. You could trap your kitty so he can get some medical care.

Yeah, it didn't work too well unfortunately. :/ The problem with this cat is that he's not exactly tempted by food. He's already pretty much fully domesticated now, even though he's been inside only a few hours. He's lost nearly all his wild skittishness. I hope that'll make him easier to get into the carrier.

YES AMEN JESUS THANK YOU. I have to hem everything I own and sometimes I shop in the little kids section. I'm five foot four, which I don't even consider to be short. It's statistically average.

It's just weird how clothes for short people are literally non-existent. If tall people seriously think that buying clothes is hard, just go to a thrift store. An L will fit most people.

If I wear an L, it'll feel like I'm wearing a huge blanket. If I wear an M, it's completely misshapen. One of the biggest things I dislike about the fashion industry is how everyone completely ignores certain body types. It's really not super good for my self esteem and makes buying clothes really annoying. If you're tall, you can go to one of your ten billion specialty stores that cater specifically to you. If you're short, I heard that there might be one site out there that caters to shorter people. I don't know if it's still around.

Aw! I wish I could help you build them a little kitty condo. I worked for one of our local feral and abandoned cat rescues last year and I applaud you because it takes a lot of dedication!
