Aw! I wish I could help you build them a little kitty condo. I worked for one of our local feral and abandoned cat rescues last year and I applaud you because it takes a lot of dedication!
Thanks! And funny you should say that because I'm setting up a greenhouse tomorrow for these guys! c:

Us scientists have to encourage each other and stick together! You're amazing and you can do whatever you set your mind to! Never let anyone, even you, tell you that you can't achieve your goals!
Thank you. :)
All this rejection and failure to do that has just made me a bit pessimistic lately. I appreciate it.
I hope eventually I'll be able to do what I want. In the mean time at least I can make a difference online.
I live in the US and have had indoor/outdoor cats my whole life. I've always lived in low traffic areas and we never had any of our cats get hit by cars. In general, our cats have always been really healthy and lived lives as long as any indoor cat (typically 12+ years). The cat I have now often roams way up the street and crosses it daily without any issues. That anon obviously has no idea what they're talking about! Sorry about your cat though :( Sounds like a lot of bad luck to me :(
thank you, yeah, it was just unlucky. we’ve always kept indoor-outdoor cats and most of them have lived long lives (15+) but we’ve had a run of bad luck lately.

Always post the rules! 1. Answer the questions. 2. Ask 5 new questions. 3. Tag 5 new blogs. 4. Message these blogs to let them know they have been tagged.
1.Do you have poetry books? If so, what is your favorite collection?
I have a few. I just got Shakespeare's sonnets and haven't finished them. I have a couple books by Kathleen Flenniken, but my all time favorite is "No Other Blue" by Craig Charles. I got it because I was a Red Dwarf fan, but his poetry really speaks to me. His poem about jail perfectly describes the last year of my marriage.
2. What is your favorite classic? I'm never sure what people count as classics, since I didn't really have lit classes. The Complete Novels of Jane Austen if that counts or The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. For at least 20 years, I read it once a year.
3. How large is your book collection? I can't say for sure, since I haven't finished the inventory for insurance, but I estimate around 2000 books. I have an entire room, most of my office at work, bookshelves in every room of the house.
4. What are the top 3 books on your current wish-list? This is a hard one because I have the bad habit of buying books on my wish list. I would like Sandman by Neil Gaiman, but it's so expensive. I want to get more Shakespeare plays in a readable edition - the complete collection is too heavy to read and I want to write in the margins so my ebook doesn't work. I would like to find a good translation of the Canterbury Tales into modern English.
5. When did your love of books begin? I always liked books as long as I can remember. I wasn't allowed to read fiction as a child. As soon as I got old enough to sneak it, I've been reading like crazy ever since.
My questions:
1. Which of your values has come from a book rather than your parents?
2. What book made you laugh the hardest?
3. What book made you cry the most?
4. What book are you reading right now?
5. What do you want to say about reading that no one ever asks?
I'm not good at tagging, so if you're reading this, consider yourself tagged. aseaofshells and octaviusresfacit both said they're bored tonight, so you should definitely do this!
