thank god the show is ending, because tired of his pampering/endorsing shippers(& their bs), which they take whatever he says & run with it to attack Jensen.
Welcome!
Hi everyone!
Welcome to Jowhale’s Vegan Kitchen! I’m Jowhale–a queer feminist vegan who is obsessed with whales, aliens, and coffee. Some of you may know me through my other social media accounts such as my film blog: ManicPixieDragonBlossoms.tumblr.com or my Vine account: @Jowhale.
I’m creating Jowhale’s Vegan Kitchen as a space to share my favorite original recipes. This will be a place to find delicious new dinner ideas, an easier way to make those meals you always hate to make, and hopefully a sense of community.
I went vegan in 2008 and have never looked back. For me, being a vegan is just such an conditioned part of my life, that often I forget I eat differently from most people. I decided to make the change to veganism when I learned about the cruel injustices inflicted upon animals raised for meat, dairy, and eggs. Soon after, I discovered how horrific animal agriculture is for our environment and for our planet. I’m passionate for all people, all animals, and the earth itself–and that’s why I live a vegan lifestyle.
Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, meat-eater–this blog will have many mouth-watering dishes to keep you coming back for more killer vegan food!
xoxo,
Jowhale
hello from the vegan side
Hi to all my non existent followers,
My name is Joey. I am 28 years-old and I currently reside in the small, picturesque town of Santa Cruz, California. I have been wanting to start a journal for a while now, but since I live a pretty normal life, I was discouraged to do it. What would I write about if nothing exciting even happens?
Well, something exciting is happening. I’m going to be vegan.
You’re probably thinking what made me want to go vegan. I have two very close friends who are vegan (Hi Desiree and Joelle!) and I have been wanting to do this for a while now too.
Sidenote: “Wanting to do things” has been a constant in my life for a while. I’ve been wanting to start a journal/blog. I have been wanting to go vegan. I have been wanting to travel more. I have been wanting to skydive. Basically 2016 will be the year of less wanting and more doing, and it’s going to start with being vegan.
But back to why I’m doing this. Partly to help the environment, partly for a healthier lifestyle, but mostly for animal rights. Have you ever seen someone getting bullied, but you don’t say anything and then just walk by. That’s basically how I feel when I’m eating a hamburger. That poor cow was probably confined, beaten, and then hung upside down while its throat was split open.
You should know that I have pretty unhealthy eating habits, so this transition will be pretty difficult. But I am prepared to do it and I will be documenting it every step of the way. By blogging, I’m hoping to connect with more vegans out there and hopefully get some advice along the way.
I hope you guys join me on this journey.
