Spoiler for DBJ, but Raditz is indeed revived. What he's up to, will be under wraps at the moment, but during the Galaxy Arc he meets Goten, Pan, and the gang.
While Raditz is very much a large, intimidating, and threatening individual, both Goten and Pan look at him and are like "he's alright, I like him", without even knowing who he is. And Raditz can't stand it.
Later, Raditz realizes that they're the children of Goku and Gohan and he's even more peeved to learn that he's related to these sunshine, optimistic, outgoing and bubbly excuses of Saiyan warriors. Once he learns of their strength and sees them in battle, he's silently proud. He won't show it to them of course, but he seems more tolerant of them and their pointless conversations.
Raditz then shows up at the Son household, for story reasons, and both Goku and Gohan are on edge. Meanwhile, Goten and Pan are behind them like "hey Raditz 😁😊" before learning that this man is their (gran) uncle who's responsible for kidnapping Gohan and who also got Goku killed.
They obviously don't care about that though, "because if Vegeta can change, so can Uncle Raditz".
Give me grumpy Uncle Raditz with sunshine niblings Goten and Pan, who can kick ass at a moment's notice.
listen, i know vegeta apologizing to gohan for the first time or anyone for that matter is supposed to be a big Moment but i cant help but automatically hear "vegeta just apologized.... oh, shit, we really are fucked" and then start laughing
idk if i just missed it but how do you guys think they explained why vegeta acts the way he does to the press and stuff? because bulma can’t exactly say “yeah he’s the guy that tried to destroy the earth and now i’m having his kid and marrying him” so like how did they do that? my personal headcanon is they just went “oh yeah we found him. he left a cult”
