Bayer to sell vegetable breeding brand Nunhems

"Following unofficial reports on the sale of Bayer’s vegetable seed business, the company has now officially confirmed plans to sell breeding department Nunhems in order to receive approval for their Monsanto take-over.

This was confirmed by Management Board Chairman Werner Baumann on Wednesday at the Financial News Conference in Leverkusen.
