REVIEW
Preparation: 7/10 - Alright (severely more complex than most but it's instant noodles so how hard can it really be, right?)
Appearence: 7/10 - Good (the noodles looked fine, nothing too special but the colour of the soup really brought something to it)
Smell: 5/10 - Okay (it smelled faintly sweet, which is not as strong as true Yen Ta Fo smells like but it's nice)
Flavour Accuracy: 8.5/10 - Very Accurate (you could taste the slight sour and the sweet and the spice and if it had had stuff boiling in it, it could've fooled me for an actual Yen Ta Fo... well, a Yen Ta Fo made by someone who's not used to make it, that is... but still: impressive)
Tastiness: 9/10 - Extremely Tasty (it was a mouthful of flavour each bite and though the soup is certainly tastier than the noodles, they did absorb the taste quite well)
Spiciness: 4/10 - Not Very Spicy (it does have spice but it's an aftertaste, it's not really that strong, it doesn't bite)
Texture: 6/10 - Average (if you've had big rice noodles than you'll know what to expect, they're okay)
Portion: 6/10 - Average (it can be a meal if you want it to be but you can also eat more, for sure)
Final Rating: 7 - Good
Final Considerations: BRO???? I was surprised when I tried them, legit! After all that had happened before with the food imitation noodles by MAMA, I was skeptical that this would be any good. BUT WAS I WRONG???? One thing about me is that I absolutely love Yen Ta Fo, it's one of my favourite noodle soups, definitely top 3 Thai foods to me. And it was impressive the way the soup could have so many nuances to it, I was definitely not expecting it! So, it makes me say that, as a spice lover, I am, for once, not mad that the spice is not that strong in a dish where there is spice (fight me people who don't like spicy Yen Ta Fo) because I think this is the right amount for something where the nuance matters. One thing I'd change, though, is the kind of noodle: I'd rather they used sen lek (thin noodles) than sen yai (wide noodles) but it's fine, it's entirely a person preference. This being said: obviouly totally recommend this one!
