MAMA OK (ORIENTAL KITCHEN) - CARBONARA BACON
Cream (Glucose Syrup, Fully Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Sodium Caseinate [MILK], Anti-Caking Agent [E551], Maltodextrin, Modified Corn Starch)
Flavour EnhancerS (E621, E635)
Acidity Regulators (E451, E500, E501)
Powdered Soy Sauce (Soy, Wheat)
Boil 400ml of water over fire.
Add the noodles to the water.
Let it cook for 4 minutes in low fire.
Take 4 tablespoons of water out and set them aside.
Add the noodles, the 4 tablespoons of water and the powder together to a bowl and mix.
Preparation: 7/10 - Alright (it's a little more complicated than most but it's still pretty easy)
Appearence: 3/10 - Bad (they look so pale and the "bacon" bits are so brown, it just... it looked kinda depressing, ngl)
Smell: 6/10 - Okay (smelled a lot like cream cheese, which is expected of fake carbonara, I assume)
Flavour Accuracy: 4/10 - Not Accurate (of course, it was never gonna even remotely emulate real carbonara bc that doesn't even have cream in it, but even for the fake creamy carbonara it's disappointing. it just tastes like someone washed it in the water of plates that have had fake carbonara on them)
Tastiness: 4/10 - Meh (it's edible and it doesn't make you wanna puke but it's super bland)
Texture: 5/10 - Average (there's nothing wrong with it nor there is something special about it)
Portion: 4/10 - Meh (it doesn't work as a meal on its own but it's a MAMA noodle package so were we really expecting anything different, here?)
Final Considerations: Is it bad? No. Is is good? Also no. If you have to eat it you will get through it without much fuss but I also assure you it'll be the last time you buy the package. Even if you eat it more after that it'll be because someone offered it to you or because there's an apocalipse and you took it from a store because, despite the blandness, it's still a resource.
