Vanya Hargreeves and her relationships with her siblings
We don’t know much about the Hargreeves as kids but we do know Vanya didn’t get along with them because of Vegetable. What we do know about their relationship with Vanya is what is shown in 1.10 (season one episode ten, The White Violin) when Vanya blows up their rooms.
First she sees Ben and Klaus. Ben says “To go on a mission, Vanya, you have to have a power.” Klaus stands in the background watching her. Then she blows them up. Many people think Ben, Vanya and Five got along very well but looking at this they didn’t.
Klaus and Vanya might’ve gotten along well as kids. She only blew up one room in comparison to Luther and Allison. She found both in Allison’s room but she blew up both her and Luthers.
Next she sees Diego sitting on his bed, with his knives on the edge. He says to her: “Vanya! What do you want?” in an annoyed tone as if he’s angry at her for coming in. As adults they don’t get along very well either. Some people might’ve thought Vanya and Diego got along as kids but they probably didn’t. Another thing to note in this part is the fact that Diego didn’t stutter at all when saying this. That might show that he mastered speaking without stuttering or because he wasn’t under pressure to get it perfect, he did very well. Or maybe he was already preparing for the mission, and as we’ve seen before he has struggled with not stuttering before missions, and maybe this time he was trying to do it without the help of Grace.
Thirdly, she sees Luther and Allison, as discussed earlier in Allison’s bedroom on her bed looking as if they’re about to kiss or have just separated from kissing but that isn’t likely as in 2.5 (Valhalla) Allison says they never even kissed. Allison yells at her: “Just get out!!” After Vanya opens the door Luther runs out as if she might tell or make fun of them. After he runs out past her and into his room, Vanya turns and walks away and blows both of the rooms up showing she didn’t get along with Luther or Allison as kids. She blows up Allison’s first as Allison was the one who yelled at her but she waits until Allison’s room had stopped burning and then blows up Luther's which might indicate an okay connection between Luther and Vanya.
Other people have mentioned she never blew up Fives room, but his room was in another wing of the house, keeping isolated from his siblings. Yet more abuse from Vegetable. If he had had his room there, we would’ve seen them and how they worked together. We also have the scene in 1.2 (Run Boy Run) when Five runs away. Before he does it he looks to Vanya as if saying goodbye or asking if he should.
Seeing as we don’t know much about the kids, and how they got along with each other these are all just educated guesses about them.
