Veggie Shepherd’s Pie
I’m really happy with this one! I loosely followed this recipe but with veggie ground. Sauteed my diced onions, added in (heated) frozen veggies and veggie ground.
I don’t have Worcestershire sauce, so I used a mix of barbeque sauce and maple syrup - it’s really good!! I like the sweetness. Could use a liiittle more barbeque sauce but I ran out. Watered down the sauce and allowed the veggie ground/veggies mix to simmer in it for ~15 mins.
One downside - my pan ratio is a little off for shepherd’s pie, I would have preferred wider and flatter but the same volume. 35 min at 400 F did the trick.
For next time: Buy some Worcestershire sauce. Try with actual meat.
