The Vegetable Man is a plant-like alien found in West Virginia. The Vegetable Man is described as a 7 foot tall humanoid plat-like creature with large leaf-like ears, eyes that changed color, and reed-like arms with thorns at the end of its fingertips. The first and only sighting happened in 1968 when a man named Jennings Frederick went out on a hunt. He started to hear a distant, high pitched humming sound so he followed it to see what was making the noise which caused him to come face to face with the Vegetable Man. Jennings Frederick said the Vegetable Man looked sick and weak; it then looked up at him and telepathically said, "YOU NEED NOT FEAR ME. I WISH TO COMMUNICATE. I COME AS A FRIEND. WE KNOW OF YOU ALL. I COME IN PEACE. I WISH MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. I NEED YOUR HELP." After communicating this, the Vegetable Man lunged on Jennings and shoved his thorns in him and drained some blood and ran off.
