ohohoho i think that hanako's lore could fit very well into jesse's canon! she's the director of an organisation called the federal bureau of control which is all about containing paranatural objects (similar to the scp foundation). she basically got left with trying to clean up after a force called the hiss wrecked everything, including needing to replace some staff. so if hanako is not easily frightened and doesn't mind if some of the rooms move themselves around, she can have a new job :)

"I know, darling, but duty calls, does it not?"

Conall says this as he rolls over to face Rhy, a hand coming to gently caress his cheek. He doesn't really sleep much, even after the night they had, so he's been awake for the better part of two hours. "If I lay here any longer, though, I'm going to be late for my meetings, and we don't want that, do we?"

So he leans over, pressing a kiss to Rhy's forehead before he sits up, stretching his arms above his head. It's going to be a long, long day, he already knows, full of meetings and diplomacy and...whatever else the Queen decides to throw on him before the sun sets. "But that's what happens when you're here in England. You only get to see me in what little down time I have. A shame, I know."

As he speaks, he runs his fingers through his own hair and begins to braid it, yawning. "I'm sure you'll find some way to pass the time, love, and we'll be back in each other's arms before you know it."

"Well, can I be blamed? That's the best part of being department head--all the gossip I get to hear from my students and my staff."

She grins, taking a sip of her coffee as she leans back in her chair. Camilla certainly knows what's been brewing between Francis and Ariel...no less due to the fact that Francis won't stop talking her ear off about him. She had been hesitant to take the position of department head for various reasons, but it seems to her that it's all working out now, especially because of things like this.

"Go on, then. I've got some time before I need to be at my next lecture. What gossip do you have for me, Ariel?"

Ikaros has found that it's never hard to recognize other immortals, whether they were that way from the start or had immortality thrust upon them like he and Achilles have. There's always a certain uncanny look about people like them. It's always in the eyes, the gaze of someone who has seen and done too much, of someone who should've been dead long ago.

He tries not to stare at Cassandra, really, he does, but he never knows what anyone's intentions are anymore. After a few moments, he sighs before getting up to walk over to her table. The Fates are at work. He just knows it. It's useless to try and avoid the game that they play.

"Um, hi, I--can I..sit here?" he asks when he does reach her table. He looks more nervous than anything. "You can, uh, you can say no, if you want, but I just--I feel like I need to talk to you."

"Oh, how generous of you, darling. And how do you plan on doing that?"

Even visiting another country, Conall is ever the busy man. Of course, not nearly as busy when he's back home with all the paperwork and the boring ropes of bureaucracy. It's busy enough to keep him occupied most of the time, however, and it's late when he collapses into the bed of the guest room. Part of him had been expecting Rhy to sneak in and is pleased to see him, but not for the reasons one might expect.

So he smirks, curling Rhy's cravat around his fingers as he tugs him closer. "I've been so busy since I've been here. Are you feeling neglected? Poor thing..." His voice is soft and smooth, a delight to anyone's ears for a reason. "You want to take care of me? You are so thoughtful, even though you've been running around with me all day, but go ahead. Do as you see fit, Your Highness."
