Veilnorth

Veilnorth is set in an extremely prestigious English university, one with a very deep history and students of only the most elite. The story follows two of it's second year students, Anya and Ryan.

Anya Etimine (Right), despite only being a second year, is practically Veilnorth royalty. She comes from a very powerful and very wealthy family, she's a brilliant academic, she is known to be absoloutley gorgeous, and absoloutley not someone you want to mess with.

Ryan Nelson (left) recently transfered from America. He's also an English student, though he acts more like if a stereotypical jock wasn't a bully. He's a nice enough guy, if a little annoying to some people. Let's just say the last thing he expected was to get Anya's attention.

While I've referred to it as The Circle, in-universe I think Veilnorth students spefically call it Anya's Circle. She's the one in charge. These are the popular powerful people but it's important to know that they are Anya's just as everyone else in the school is.

Okay so I've thought about it and I think I've got an idea for Veilnorth's plot. Basically it's Ryan entering Anya's circle, seeing how strange The Circle is, initially being kind of freaked out, but eventually 'You know what, im kind of enticed by this and it's being led by the Prettiest Girl Ever so I'm staying.'

On the flip side, Anya, who's kind of grown up having to make herself powerful so that she doesn't get hurt, is nervous Ryan, who's new to Veilnorth, might try and mess things up. People have tried that with her before, and you can never be too careful. So she keeps him at her side, because of he's hers, if she can make him utterly devoted to her, then he can't mess things up. Her feelings for him get more genuine over the course of the story of course, but I think giving her issues with trust would add to her character.

Hilarious that out of all my original stories/adaptations, I have approximately 2 white boy protags, and one of them is an 16-17 year old who managed to do the World's Worst Example of Peaking in Highschool, and the other is a 20 year old who is there to fall under the spell of a Somewhat Messed Up Beautiful Woman.

What's the new story about?

I don't have the exact details as of just yet, since I mainly wanted to get Anya and Ryan down as characters and I just came up with the idea today, but it's essentially how Ryan ends up in Anya's circle and how things transpire from there. Hopefully I can work out further details later, but I wanted to write something where the girl is the powerful and popular one instead of the guy.
