im alive, i swear!  things’ve just gotten a bit crazy busy and i’m legit running on nothing.  ‘been getting around 3-5 hours of sleep for the past week and work’s been unrelenting.  since i have an actual crapton to do this particular weekend, this’s a formal heads up that i won’t be very chatty ooc in favor of writing at least a few drafts here.  it’s nothing personal if i don’t reply in a timely manner.  the weekend is p/m the only time i ever get to write across all of my blogs so—yeah!  just wanna de-stress ‘n have some fun on the side but i also dont wanna upset anyone w my silence ya feel me

anyway, since mentioning my ATLA au for my boy, ra’s been a delightful inspiration skjjlks  seriously, building this au with them is how i got through this crappy week.  naturally, i had to draw some of it 👌  so here’s a rEAlly rough WIP

her     ears ,     constantly     filled     with     whispers     from     the     nether .               it  wasn’t  god ,  it  was  a  poison  however .  temptations  spoken  so  sweetly  to  her  only  cut  by  his  speech .  pause  wasn’t  filled  with  silence  for  her ,  yet  she’d  still  think .  the  church ,  a  place  named  and  supposed  for  those  holy ,  thought  to  send  a  poison  onto  the  land  with  blood  that  became  a  drug .  refugees  ‘came  addicted  to  their  pungent  blood ,  a  cocktail  that  relieved  them  of  ailments .  right .  they’d  release  hunters  such  as  herself  to  slaughter  turned  maids  and  men  into  hunched ,  snarling ,  horrifying  monsters  that  should  only  lay  betwixt  the  pages  of  a  folks  tale .  they  welcomed  those  safety  and  lulled  them  into  some  sort  of  temptation ,  all  the  while ,  those  clerics  ‘neath  their  cloaks  were  turning  into  beasts  under  everyone’s  noses .  lady  maria  tilted  head ,               “     the  church  supposed  to  heal .  ‘tisn’t  gods  nor  celestial  beings  in  chains  :  the  one’s  who  poison  are  none  other  than  the  one’s  the  publics  supposed  to  put  faith  into .  yet  we  must  keep  our  head  down ,  the  healing  church  be  the  end  all  at  this  point .     ”

i really adore your orihime !! she is bright and happy without being too overwhelming which i feel people make the mistake of making her saccharine at all times when she's really 3 dimensional and there is thought behind the things she does. thank you for doing her justice !

           Ra, you’re making me cry! It means a lot to me that these are your thoughts on the way I write Orihime. I really relate to her so much, and I’ve told this many times but I just really understand her inner workings. She opens up to me so easily and it just makes it enjoyable to write so much. I really want to tap on the more serious things about her and the feelings that she didn’t get to reveal. Believe me, there are a lot of things hiding inside of her! And I’m just excited to show everyone all of her layers, little by little. 

           Orihime is the most perceptive person. She harbors a lot of emotions and it crashes to her all at once. She’s a very hypersensitive person and if someone would listen to her closely, she’s really wise and deep. And she is definitely independent and just wanted to extend herself to everyone in need. Ah, I just have a lot of feelings about her. She’s not afraid to be kind and be seen as soft because that’s who she is and no one would be able to take that away from her. And she wouldn’t let anyone dictate her life even though many tried to bend her or made her feel inferior, she will always try her best to prove them wrong and rise as an inspiration to everyone.

            But yes, thank you so much again, Ra. I’m glad and grateful that my writing is having an impact on you. I love you friend! [ blows kisses ] ♥

Nero is now predominantly left handed, even after regaining his human right arm. He used to be ambidextrous with the bringer, rarely using it came to more delicate tasks or writing, and before that favoured his right for his early life. He has difficulty adjusting to his right arm as it is now, the trauma of it being ripped off continues to find its way back to him, through dreams or in phantom pains around the lower arm. 

He ends up keeping V’s book in the glove compartment of the trailer. For a long time after the end of five he doesn’t touch it, refuses to think about it, lets the book collect dust while playing with the decision to keep ignoring it or destroy the thing. Only several months later does he end up cracking the book open ( never been the kind of guy for poetry, much less William Blake, but he manages read one or two when he can ).  He chooses to associate the book with the memory of V rather than Vergil himself.  To assure himself he made the right decision in letting Vergil walk away into the demon world.

Karakura town. kazue knows that this place was rather strange - xiera had such a strange look upon her face while explaining this place to her - and her companion Hitsugi had admitted that the city itself was deeply strange. she’d chosen not to do anything with Hitsugi at the time for the girl’s safety - the apostle’s video had been leaked and she’d been accosted as a result of her newfound fame.

the barrier’s up! xiera’s voice is very cheery, and kazue nods her thanks, choosing not to deign her companion with an answer when she has already spotted something worthy of interest. The readings are unusual - ether did not typically concentrate in such ways, and she has to wonder what would cause it to act so unusually.

“how strange,” kazue murmurs, pulling a screen up to discover the source. she wasn’t very worried about being seen on the top of a rooftop - with Invisible Blade Mai’s overlay in place, kazue would only have to worry about Phantoms...

or the dead. her head snaps up at the sudden intrusion of her private space, drawing and leveling [Persona]’s gift defensively between herself and the possible threat. Better to be cautious than foolish.

“are you a phantom?” she had faced off against some of the mad phantoms from before - creatures with the strangest of masks. No phantom was truly articulate, but the ones in this strange town were capable of speech to a minor degree.

Transient,  a  protector  of  the  in-between  /  do  the  gods  have  no  answers,  the  spirits  needing  shepherds?  Strange  to  be  a  spirit  once,  and  in  ways,  a  spirit  still  –  confronted  with  a  bondage  that  might  have  made  even  his  lips  shake.  Now  his  bandaged  hands  interact  with  little  motive  to  them,  the  hurt  of  the  shepherd  reminding  him  of  an  old  friend;  subdued,  quiet,  an  old  tune  that  stings  if  held  too  close;  easier  placed  away,  easier  forgotten.  Cole’s  eyes  flit  away.  “How  many  years  will  you  stand  in  one  shadow,  be  bound  by  many  oaths?  You  want  to  tell  her  and  she  wants  to  know,  but  the  bridge  is  burning,  and  its  because  the  flame  is  the  only  promise  that  matters.”  His  voice  grows  quieter.  “How  long  will  you  fold  yourself  away,  burdened  by  people’s  wants?  Needing,  wanting,  once , twice? does  not  mean  you  are  not  allowed  to  again.”

a feeling of unease --- with his back turned it felt as if someone loomed over his very being. a gutteral growl escaped passed his lips as he spun around, hand slammed on the counter-top, eyes shut. dark brows furrowed.  ❛ ya really want that pineapple wig knocked off that fake tattooed head of yours, huh pal ? stop playin games with me. i told you i don’t --- know. . . ❜ the tone of his voice was a mere facade of harshness but genuine annoyance did show within. his words were caught short when he looked up and it  W A S N ‘ T  the moocher. someone he had rarely seen when he was little but knew who  T H I S  was.
