Kaz's leather gloves are obviously a huge comfort for him, so I think leather is definitely a fabric that he has very positive associations with. He likes wool for its warmth in the autumn and winter days in Ketterdam ... and, of course, the thickness and weight of it is comforting for him too, I think. In season 2, the back collar of Kaz's wool coat is lined with black fur and, from looking into it, seems maybe black fox or mink fur?? I suspect he also greatly enjoys velvet and cashmere. He just really likes thick and cozy fabrics okay lmao. And lastly of course, the cool metal of Kaz's crows head cane is comforting for him to smooth his hands over, gloved or no.
As for meaningful trinkets ... not necessarily a trinket per-se, but I do know for certain that Kaz treasures all the letters Inej writes him. Obviously he enjoys anything that would present him with some kind of puzzle, so if Inej ever found weird kinds of puzzle trinkets from foreign places, he would enjoy that a lot. Playing cards too — he still has his very first deck of playing cards he ever bought with his own money and it's very special to him.
