I had just moved to #Portland a couple months prior, and it happened to be around New Year.. #Veks had just moved back to the Bay Area from St. Louis, and was helping EatFuk & Kiro move to Portland. Although we knew each other for years, it was the first time, Veks and I, had a chance to really kick it tough, and get to know each other a little. Although I was working graveyard, with the homies in town, if I wasn't working, all I wanted to do was paint. I remember @veks_usa tripping on how I was 6' 4", 300 lbs, worked manual labor, but still had so much energy to paint, and everything else (I drank, but no drugs). Actually, we painted this on New Year's Eve 2001, before midnight, and the celebrating began. That was a long night. Good times and good memories.. #BennyDiar #VEKS 2001-02 #dtckyt #portlandgraffiti
