hi! formally thanking you for the coining of gynine, i realized it fits a lot better than feminine for my personal identity :D
may i request a galactian alignment for it? and maybe one for being gynine-aligned and masculine-aligned if you're up for it? thanks so much!
This inspired me to make a few new galactian alignment flags. I don't have one for masculine-aligned and these flags don't have symbols right now, but I figured they'd still be useful.
From left to right:
Velaean: A galactian alignment that is gynine-aligned. It's named after vela, the Latin word for ship sails and the name of a constellation. Pyxian: A galactian alignment that is andrine-aligned. It's named after pyxis, the Latin word for a mariner's compass and the name of a constellation. Carinaean: A galactian alignment that is simultaneaously velaean and pyxian. It's named after carina, the Latin word for the keel of a ship and the name of a constellation.
The colors for the first two flags use a dark gray to represent stormy skies, which invokes the image of ocean navigation (hence the related concepts of ship sails and compasses as part of the names.) The top two stripes of each are borrowed, of course, from the gynine and andrine flags.
The third flag uses a lighter hazy gray to represent a storm subsiding, that the ship made it through the storm. This is why the top two stripes are lighter, but stlll both borrowed from the gynine and andrine flags.
