ભાલ પંથકમાં વેળાવદર રાષ્ટ્રીય અભ્યારણમાં પાંચ કાળીયારના મોતથી ચકચાર

ઘટનાને લઈ ભારે હડકંપ, હજુ પણ અનેક ગામોમાં પાણી યથાવત, તંત્રનું રાઉન્ડ ધ કલોક પેટ્રોલીંગ મિલન કુવાડિયા વલ્લભીપુર વિસ્તારના જોડતા ભાલ પંથકના ગામોમાં ભારે વરસાદના પગલે અતિવૃષ્ટિ સર્જાઈ છે ત્યારે ૫ જેટલા કાળીયારના મોત મામલે તંત્રમાં હડકંપ મચ્યો છે અહીંના અનેક વિસ્તારમાં વરસાદી પાણીનો નિકાલ નહીં થતા અને અન્ય કારણોસર ૪ માદા અને ૧ નર કાળીયાર મૃત્યુ પામ્યા છે. આ પાંચ કાળીયારના મોત થતા પ્રકૃતિ પ્રેમીઓમાં રોષ ફેલાયો છે. આ ઘટનામાં તંત્ર દ્વારા મીઠાના અગરો માટે કચ્છના ૧૩ જેટલા આસામીઓને રાતોરાત હજારો એકર જમીન ફાળવવામાં આવી હતી અને આ જમીનમાં કરાયેલા પાળાને કારણે પાણીનો નિકાલ નહીં થતા. આ દુર્ઘટના થઈ હોવાનું પ્રાથમિક તપાસમાં ખુલ્યું છે.  ભારે વરસાદના કારણે એક તરફ ભાલ પંથકના ૨૫થી વધુ ગામોમાં  પાણી ભરાઈ ગયા છે તો બીજી તરફ પાંચ કાળીયારના મોત નીપજયા છે. જો કે પાણીના પ્રવાહમાં તણાતા બે અને કુતરાએ હુમલો કરતા ૩ એમ કુલ પાંચ કાળીયારના મોત નીપજયા હોવાનુ તંત્ર દ્વારા જણાવાયું છે. આ ૫ કાળીયારમાંથી ૪ માદા અને ૧ નર મૃત્યુ છે અને તમામ કાળીયારની ઉંમર ૩ થી ૫ વર્ષની છે સમગ્ર મામલે તંત્રએ રાઉન્ડ ધ કલોક પેટ્રોલીંગ શરૂ કર્યું છે.
