To be honest, Luna always felt a bit silly when she geared up for a battle, but at least each piece of her outfit added to her her overall hit points. She leaned against a large rock and watched as other players said their goodbyes to loved ones and their guild members. She rolled her eyes at the display and checked the time again to see when they were supposed to be boarding. The only thing that kept her from boarding early was having to be bored on a boat instead of on land. “Anyone have any idea how long we’re going to be on these things? With the way people are acting it seems like a Titanic long voyage.”
The second he got off the boat, Hades just felt the wash of relief for being on dry land. He should have known the game masters were going to pull some bullshit like this. He waved off his boat mates and trudged to a part of shore where less people were milling through before falling to his knees and turning to lie down flat on his back.
“I am never getting on a boat ever again.” He muttered, resting a hand on his forehead in an attempt to dispel any more dizziness.
Player:Achilles
Floor: 51
Something didn’t feel right, he couldn’t put a name to it but something felt off. Achilles had been doubtful about the whole plan when have first heard about it. Especially since it seemed to be blood oaths brainchild. Maybe that was the reason he had been and indeed still was reluctant about the whole damn thing. Still, they had all agreed that it was too big of a chance to pass up. That the risk didn’t out weight the rewards. The rewards of opening a new floor, getting one step closer to getting the hell out. Still... something didn’t feel right.
So, instead of voicing he's concerned with his people- because he needed his people in the proper mindset; now more than ever. He sat in the shade of one of the trees several feet away from the business of the other player. Snow, next to him he absently stroked her soft fur as he kept his eyes closed and tried to find his calm. It was their tradition; before every battle, he and snow would sit somewhere and quite there mind. The difference was this time, Snow wouldn’t be standing next to him in battle. Achilles let out a long sigh as he felt the presence of someone near him now. “ Is it time to go yet, cause I could use like five more minutes,” he said, eyes still closed as Achilles tried to settle that nagging voice in the back of his head.
player: zeus location: floor 51, the shore by the drained lake
a huff left his lips as he walked around the shore. his clothes were still soaked, his hair clinging to his face as he set foot back onto the shore. in his hands, he carried a bag filled to the TOP with fish. he approached another player, elbowing them slightly to get their attention. “i almost drowned for nothing more than a few tuna fish and a carp? i wanted to at least LEVEL up or something, but i didn’t even get that. at least i get to eat. this is the closest thing to a home cooked meal i’ll have had in ages. god knows i have no cooking skill whatsoever, in and out of game.” zeus loosened his grip, letting his spoils or war land right in front of a unity member flipping through a cookbook. “you going back in again or are you just here for the free food?”
Player:Mantis
Location: floor 51// shoreline
Mantis stood to her feet as she watched the giant fish appear. What the fuck was this! Mantis wasn’t sure what she had been expecting but it was velia there was no telling what the game would through at you. Crossing her arms she, hazel eyes scanned the battlefield. “ If they aren’t careful that thing can wipe out the whole shoreside,” she muttered. Her anxiety starting to kick in as she watched the battle. She felt a presence come up beside her but she was too engrossed to look at the person that came in. “ Do you have any idea what that thing is?”
Floor 51 // Lake shore
Hundreds of players were gathered by the boats that were now about to set sail for the mission at hand. He was never comfortable with dealing with other guilds, but he had to agree that it was the safest and smartest means to go about things. If this were the big boss everyone seemed to believe it was, they needed all hands on deck and though he was partial to his own guild, he had to admit that each had a unique set of skills that could be useful.
Still. It didn’t put him too much at ease.
He felt someone walk up next to him, causing him to heighten his defenses slightly.
“Nervous?”

Hades: This was a dumb idea.
