Who or what is Queen Velinu, and what is she queen of?
Velinu is a Riokuvyn, and was the Knight-Guard of the Royal Gold Bloodline. Code name was Grey Wolf until mating with Lord Reigou and gaining Silver-Eyes, thus changing the code name to Silver Wolf. Riokuvyn don’t really have genders, but since humans do and they spend a lot of time in mostly-human-like-forms, and Velinu is the one who “birthed” Lordling Vinri, ze’s referred to as Queen and Mother. Reigou, Lord and last of the Gold Bloodline (before Vinri) is the love of Velinu’s life, and that’s a long life considering ze’s been around since the early hundreds. Reigou’s been around since most ancient human civilizations.
Ze has a frosty personality on the offset, taking zir duty as Knight-Guard very very seriously. In fact, Velinu takes most things seriously. Ze’s not known for zir smile (unless Reigou is around, and then it’s like the sun came out). Zir sibling, Vercil was the Prophet of the Royal family. His (as he does prefer the male pronouns) energies and powers were all trained to seeing threats from the future. Then he saw something that shattered his belief in the Golden Line. He’s done nothing but attempt to stage a coup and overthrow Lord Reigou, even at the cost of his relationship with his sibling.
...Because once he targets Velinu’s child Vinri...there’s no forgiveness possible.
