Tower of Frozen Shadow
I don't care what anyone says. For a 22 year old game(EverQuest Scars of Velious, December 2000), this still looks amazing. Screenshot from the Yelinak server, though I also occasionally play p1999.

Velious had a pretty rough time, it looks worse than ever. The settlements are at least partially destroyed but they had been upgraded before the destruction.

Onward and Upward - Adventures of Qinny continued
So it’s been a little over one week since I decided to try my hand at a Paladin for EQ. Qinny has been on many adventures since then and I’ve actually been enjoying the overall journey at this point. As of today, Qinny is at her 45th season, an apprentice smith and speaks three languages fluently.
She and Laya have also been very busy decorating the guild hall for the holidays!
Overall, I will…

“I wasn’t even standing on it!” Goldmune protested, “I have the picture to prove it!”
“It’s probably the whole room.” Trii said.
Poor Goldie was stuck back on Odus, right where we had just left. It wasn’t anywhere dangerous, but it was still inconvenient. Plus it took time to wait for the Nexus Scion to activate the portal.
We went ahead to Velious and waited for Goldie on the other side.
We weren’t completely bored waiting for Goldie. We entertained ourselves by climbing the Nexus spires and avoiding the gazes of light blue threatening frost giants and their pet drakkel dire wolves.
We found the Velious portal, but when we hailed the Velious scion, they said: “Due to the limited space, I share this area with the portal to Odus. It may be a little confusing, but if you listen for the voice, it will tell you when to step on the pad for Velious or Odus. Safe travels to you.”
“She is saying we might go back to Odus.” Godie informs us.
“Nope.” I said. And stepped further out of the room and Goldie laughed. I was pretty sure I was safe from accidental teleportation since I wasn’t actually on the pad, but I wasn’t taking any chances.
Turns out, I was right to be paranoid. The portal to Odus activated, and a shiny light enveloped the room.
“WOW!” Triisu said with delight, “Bubbles!!!” Bubbles also must have enveloped the room.
I wasn’t paying any attention to that though, because Goldmune had just vanished before my eyes. “NOOOOO!” I cried.
“GUH!” Came Goldie’s voice from afar.
“Oh, and Goldie is gone.” Triisu said.
