May I propose a tiny headcanon for Lux Imperator/Mr Ring-A-Ding that has been mulling in the back of my cranium for a while:

If Lux/Mr Ring-A-Ding is capable of feeling touch-starved, what if there was a point where he felt hungry (i.e. needing to eat food) despite usually relying on light for energy?

(Hope that makes sense.)
