Drivetrain close-up: I love these White Industries VBC cranks because they can really enable a wide range of riding all on one bike. Instead of using a set chainring bolt size to attach the chainrings (BCD), they instead have long slots which allow you to run basically any gearing combos you can imagine. I've tried a lot of gear combos with these and this is my favorite: a 48t outer ring to allow a good high range for speedier times on pavement, and a 30t inner ring to provide a super low range for steep dirt and trail climbs as well as loaded touring... That's an 18 tooth difference! Pretty crazy, and works great. The dropouts seen here are made by @paragonmachine and have swappable inserts to enable a lot of different axle, drivetrain and mount setups...
