Today's throwback: The Deep V MTB. This rim was brought back to life in 2009 for those looking for some thing that was "a little stronger, a little beefier, and a little wider" in the then emerging bike polo market. Thus where it received its new name, 'Chukker', which comes from the term for best of 3 polo matches. Since it's re-release, cyclists beyond bike polo players have turned to the Chukker as a go-to rim for touring, tandem, or clydesdale applications.
